It still surprises me about Cena on Smackdown

I'm not. They need someone "big" to sell Smackdown. They have 3 tent poles acts in Cena, Orton and Ambrose and 2 good heels in Styles & Wyatt.

Now they just need to build up a good 3rd big heel and develop their mid card.

Closest thing they have right now to a 3rd big heel is The Miz and he should never main event...like ever again.

I've been away from this thread for a long time, but I'm torn on the draft as a whole. After the first round of picks, it was really renewing my fading interest in the product as a whole, but then, as it went on, it just seems like it was all so random. I was hoping for each brand to start out with something of an "identity" (like Raw being mostly established mainstream stars and SmackDown being more "up and comers"/IWC darlings), but it all seemed to be pulled out at random.

I hope it all works out, though.

Hmm.....not that this has anything to do with the WWE, but these ROH guys have contracts that expire after Final Battle 2016:

- Jay Lethal
- Adam Cole
- The Young Bucks
- ReDragon

Is that NXT's future, those guys plus Roderick Strong, Big Damo and whoever they sign from the CWC that will not be in the Cruiserweight Division? That to me is what I don't get about NXT. Are they developmental? Are they a quasi-Indy?

True, I'll be watching Smackdown regularly now than I have in a couple of years for AJ,Ambrose,American Alpha,Orton and others and especially since it's live now.

I guess that's one good thing about the new brand extension so far, Makes me want to watch both main shows now

And PWTorch is reporting that Adam Cole, Jay Lethal, The Young Bucks and ReDragon all have expiring contracts after Final Battle. I don't see any of them, except for maybe Adam Cole in NXT and even then NXT will have to make Cole "the guy" in NXT for him to jump ship.

If they bring in a bunch of these guys, they'll need a secondary title, which is why I thought bringing back the CW Championship would be a good idea for NXT.
