TJP got his best showing on WWE since jobbing Sheamus 7 years ago :oldrazz:
TJP looks main roster ready.

Never heard of Damian Slater but I was impressed. Very smooth in the ring.

Da Mack vs. TJP was my favorite match of this week's cruiserweight classic.
There was a lot of showboating but both guys had the talent to back it up.

Mustafa Ali's ring gear was like Seth Rollins cosplay. Ali's Spanish Fly was dope.

Corey Graves and Tom Phillips are the Pepper Brooks and Cotton McKnight (Dodgeball commentators) of Wrestling.
Anyone here a Heath Slater fan?

I like Heath. I've always found him entertaining which is more than I can say for some guys on the roster.

Hunico (current Sin Cara) is this generation's Meng. His beat Sheamus and Gotch ass and got stabbed defending Camacho.

So a bit of fantasy booking....

What if Cesaro's kinda shoot was planned? It could be the beginning of a trade tha balances things out a bit.

-Orton and Lesnar on different shows makes it difficult to build their SS match without completely making the draft look useless.
-Zayn & Owens need to be separated as the way the fued has been set up makes so they can never stop fighting each other.
-Owens and Cesaro do not have much room to move up on Raw.

So here is my scenario.

At Battleground Zayn vs. Owens ends in a double dq. they continue brawling all over the arena until they are separating by Foley and others. Foley and Steph talk later which leads to a last man standing match being booked between the two for Summerslam to end their fued. Foley comments that he's seen the hatred in their eyes before and even that won't settle it. It was a mistake to draft both men on the same show and they need to be separated before they tear each apart and continue to disrupt shows.

The next night on Raw, Steph announces a blockbuster trade, Owens/Cesaro to Smackdown for Orton to Raw. I think this balances things out a bit and solves the Zayn/Owens & Lesnar/Orton issues all in one swoop.

I can co-sign this approach. I personally want to keep Cena and Orton off the same show.

Totally agree that Owens and Zayn's careers can't move forward with both on the same show, plus this allows for a hugely hyped Wrestlemania between the two.

So you hate me then? LOL Seriously though, Cena and Orton's total lack of chemistry is almost disturbing.

The great rivalry bs just didn't fly. Even though they were both from the same class at OVW and came up together and got pushed as top guys together they don't have anything the other one can play off of. Like you said, Wheels, no chemistry. The story is there but the character elements aren't. I saw Geoff Johns make a good point about a lot of villians either being a dark mirror or total opposites. They don't have any of that with each other.

I'd be be happy if I never saw them face off again.

I wish they'd put everybody I hate on Raw, that way I could just watch Smackdown

My ideal roster:
Brock Lesnar
Dean Ambrose
Seth Rollins
AJ Styles
Kevin Owens
Cesaro
Chris Jericho
The Dudleys
Kane
The New Day
Finn Balor
Anderson and Gallows
Goldust
Neville
Sami Zayn
Alberto Del Rio
Austin Aries
Hideo Itami
Bobby Roode
Samoa Joe
Rhino
Johnny Gargano
La Sombre (I can't remember what they're calling him in NXT)
Biff Busick (not calling him Oney Lorcan... it's too stupid)
Shinsuke Nakamura
Tommaso Ciampa
Asuka
Natalya
Charlotte Flair
Sasha Banks
Page
Baylee
Alexa Bliss
Becky Lynch

Raw and NXT can have all the rest.

But of course they wouldn't do it, because it'd be too entertaining and Vince doesn't want me to be happy.

I honestly can't think of any "great" rivalry for Orton other than his one with Edge and his one with Triple H...and I'm not sure I'd use the word "great".

Cena, on the other hand, has had so many. Edge, JBL, The Rock, Lesnar, Rollins, CM Punk...

I really don't get why people dislike him.

*I just remembered how much I enjoyed the Orton/Mick Foley feud.

Mick Foley,Triple H and Undertaker are Orton's best feuds and I like him much more than Cena but yeah overall Cena has had the best feuds and storylines.

Cena is fascinating in one respect at least. For as much as some people complain about his limited move set, he seems to raise his game a lot when he's facing top-tier talent. In fact, he's usually at his best in those situations. His best matches tend to be against the likes of HBK, and Chris Jericho, and CM Punk, and Daniel Bryan, and JBL (the latter just for the sheer brutality of them. I still love that "I Quit" Match that they had, so delightfully bloody and brutal), etc. And yeah having world-class talent as your opponents helps a lot, but it's not like he doesn't bring his best in those situations. He contributes.

It's why his first match with AJ being so, underwhelming, was a bit of a surprise for me. I kind of wonder if their timing was just off, or if he was rusty after being on the shelf for so long, or whatever. I think that their next match will be better.

My problem with Cena has always just been how he was booked and pushed but nothing against him in the ring except no selling often.

Didn't mind him as the top guy but for that long and being a 14 time wwe champion is such bs, he should have only been on top from 2006-2009 and then CM Punk or Edge should have replaced him followed by Daniel Bryan.

The length of Cena on top wasn't nearly as bad as how stale his character became. He became "aw, shucks" character that kept winning. I understand the logistics on why WWE didn't turn him heel (Make-A-Wish) and the merchandising, but a heel turn would have been awesome. And to be honest, he didn't even need to be a heel. He just needed to be a no-nonsense face. For as much crap that Rock/Cena I and II got, we received fresh material from Cena. I enjoyed his promos. He wasn't a super babyface. Only Hogan could be a true super babyface and it'll never happen again.

Isn't that medicine for ADHD? How's that a bad thing?

He didn't have a prescription for it. Its an automatic suspension.

Smackdown. I think Rollins will be winning it back on Sunday.

Da Mack vs. TJP was my favorite match of this week's cruiserweight classic.

His kneebar submission was sick!

He should've been phased out after his match with The Rock, but McMahon in his infinite wisdom wanted to keep the spotlight on him, which added to Punk's frustration that led him to quit.

I found him to be quite entertaining when he was doing his somewhat tweener-ish rapper thing back on SD. Doing stuff like slapping Mrs. HHH's backside, giving Teddy Long (a face GM at the time) the FU/AA because he got angry, having that bloodbath of a match with JBL, etc. If he were still more unpredictable like that, then I think that he'd work much better.

And not to say that she'd ever reach anywhere near the heights of Hogan (after all very few have even come close to that), but I think that with good booking Bayley could pull off the super-babyface and make it work on the main roster.

Cruiserweight Classic..

-Daniel Bryan makes a good commentator

-Tajiri is showing his age but still has the goods in the ring, I look forward to seeing Gran Metalik vs Tajiri next week, Damian Slater is decent.

-TJ Perkins belongs on NXT or the main roster, Da Mack may want to drop the michael jackson stuff. Shout out to Alex Wright!

-Mustafa Ali vs Lince Dorado was fun!

-Akira Tosawa vs Kenneth Johnson was alright, Akira has cool Spidey armbands, knee pads and boots!

I think we see another Dusty Finish, where Dean and Rollins both pin Reigns.

Although, I don't know if they really want to make Reigns look that bad right off the bat.

NXT..

-I was expecting Joe vs Rhyno to main event than be the opening match, A decent one.

-Asuka needs to practice her english much more than continue with "I fight Bayley, I fight Nia". Nakamura does better and he's much newer to NXT/the US

-Not sure if the Authors of Pain should keep the shield look but it fits them, I don't recognize the language they speak but it sounds kinda cool with their voices. They are beasts but I hate that American Alpha are their victims although I guess it makes them credible.

-I like Revival but sure hope Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa are the next champs and soon!

-Not sure what to think of Austin Aries feuding with No Way Jose.

-I'm probably the only Nia Jax fan in here, glad she's joining the main roster!

Foley was the first one to really take Orton to that next level. I agree Taker was probably his other best long term opponent.

Cenas competitive. I guess that stayed with him from being an athlete. Some people are just like that. They want to show they can hang because with certain guys it's obvious if one is not pulling his weight.

It's the Hogan push, m'man. Vince has followed the same formulas for over 30 years. Hogan was on top for almost a decade and Cena got the same push before they started phasing him down. Cena might have been a little younger when he got the big push. Big difference is the belts get passed around a lot more in the last 20 years.

Vince formulaic thinking is why they're so big on Dana Brooke and Eva Marie too.

And he's tried to do the same thing with Roman Reigns. Although if anything, Reign's push to the top has been even more rapid and unearned than either Hogan or Cena's. At least it took them a number of years to make it there.

Lucha Underground season 2 finale..

-Awesome and trippy opening!

-Good trios match, I love Aerostar.

-Black Lotus ain't bad but needs improvement

-The Rise of Pentagon Dark!

-Matanza got slayed for the most part, Ian/Vampiro *censored*ed up, Pentagon not getting the title makes me sad!

-Catrina showed why she's actually the baddest *****!

-Rey vs Prince Puma was awesome, Rey still has it in him! I'm kinda surprised Puma lost but I guess the producers already knew he was leaving or wanted to and so they decided he shouldn't win this match.

-Pentagon Dark is his own master now!

-The ending with Dario was really shot well!
