The Dark Knight Things you noticed the second time

Gordon doesn't actually say anything about Harvey killing people, he just says that five are dead, two of them are cops. He could just mean from the whole Dent situation. Maybe Harvey himself is included in that 5?

1,000 pardons , did anyone else notice Heath's little wimper just before he jumps into the school bus at the hospital, the Joker was actually spooked when it blew up! :)

I noticed Mr. Fox accurately predicted what would happen to Batman -"the separated plates will make you more susceptible to knives and gunfire"

Batman gets kicked in the stomach by a knife, then later gets shot again in the stomach

How the heck does Gordon know how many people Harvey killed in those last few hours anyway? I mean he though Joker had him captive until Harvey called him on his cellphone. Then we see everything Gordon does, real time until he says how many are dead. Theres no way he is referring to Harvey Dents murders, there is no way he could have found out how many were killed. 5 dead, two of them cops:
Judge, Commisioner, Brian Douglas, Patrick Harvey (cop), Richard Dent (cop). But then I guess you've got the two cops at the hospital, a couple prob died in the explosion at MCU, heaps look like they died in the armoured car chase as well as plenty of civilians.
So its hard to tell who he's actually referring to, but I doubt he knew who Harvey had killed at that point, unless perhaps Ramirez gave him a call as he was on his way to the warehouse....
GEEZ I DUNNO!!!!!!:cmad:

Most of Harvey's victims were killed in the afternoon, IIRC, while the Joker standoff takes place at night. There was plenty of time for Gorden to be informed that the biggest mob boss in Gotham and his driver had been killed, along with Wuertz. After that it depends who the next victims were. It could be the black cop in the hospital, Maroni's bodyguard, Dent himself, and/or Ramirez. Maroni's bodyguard's body would be discovered around the same time as Maroni, and Dent and the black cop are self-explanatory. That just leaves us with Ramirez. Gordon could've been called and informed she was missing before he went out to meet Harvey at the warehouse. The more I think about it though the more I believe that the black cop at the hospital was the second policeman killed.

He might be including Dent if Dent didn't kill Maroni's bodyguard. Some people think he just knocked him out.

Actually, I wondered about that, because Batman seemed unphased by it.

I noticed that the one who screams from the knife blow was actually The Joker. If I saw correctly, it appears that Batman blocks Joker's shins with the guantlets.

During the two-face scene with Ramirez I noticed how angry and impatient harvey was. When he did that coin flip and it landed on the clear side his attitude completely changed. You can tell by the huge difference in his facial expression. Its the little things that made Eckharts performance excellent.

man that guy should get an oscar...oh yeah it will be heath`s property lol.

i noticed the joker says little 14 times in the movie and is it just me or ¿hes always taking out his tongue like in almost every scene? maybe heath had problems at doing that accent.

Yea but even if he blocked it, it's still funny to me that those very things happened to him after being warned about it.

The Joker did stick his tongue out in a lot of scenes. I'm sure it was a deliberate affectation on Ledger's part. I've heard that spending years on anti-psychotic meds will cause tics like sticking one's tongue out.

Nolan explained in a few interviews that Heath thought having scars across one's mouth would cause you to lick them a lot. So he adopted that facial tic for the character.

This man was at Bruce's party. You can see him to Bruce's right when Bruce is giving his I Believe In Harvey Dent speech.

Yeah and it ticked me off too! :woot:
I kept contacting the extras office for more work on the flick, and they never called again. He got lucky I tells ya.

He was my chum for the party scene, and we ran into each other at Wizard World last year. Funny thing is I sent THIS vid to my gf last year and guess who shows up about 10 seconds in (leftside of the screen)? The man's everywhere!

I noticed that only because almost every single person uses a cell phone that Batman was able to track down Joker with the sonar technology, I'd imagine he have a tough time finding Joker without the technology and rely on his wits.

Great makeup job on THIS one, boys!

Could his scars be ANYMORE poorly done and just slapped on?
In a sick and gross out way maybe the makeup was made to look like dry crusty scabs that Joker simply painted Brian's face white. :oldrazz:

He shot him in the back of the head point blank range.

There is a 'Matilda' on Nurse Joker yeah? Name of his daughter. Something I did not pick up the first time.

I think there was multiple tags used. One of them definitely says "Nurse Hemming". A nod to costume desinger Lindy Hemming.

In the vein of this thread,

it took me THREE viewings to hear what Gordon said when he captures the Joker. No fault of my own, the audience was SCREAMING at his reveal.

I noticed that both "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" prominently feature orange juice. In "Batman Begins", Alfred brings Bruce a glass of orange juice when he wakes him up after his first night out as Batman. In "The Dark Knight", there is a glass of orange juice next to Alfred as he reads Rachel's letter, which he later brings to Bruce. Coincidence? I think not. Vitamin C FTW. :p
