I'd love for Thor to be in Odinsleep at the end of the film, or the beginning of the Avengers, and just appearing at the last minute to take out Hulk or whatever.

Also, since we know Stellan (and portman?) is/are in Avengers, I could see Shield working with them to try and find a way to reach Thor.

Just to put on my know it all pedantic hat for a minute, pagan IS religious, it just means non-christian. And Easter itself is based on a pagan holiday anyway, thats where the Easter Bunny and the eggs came from.
