More like Surtur, Hela... would be my guess. We know that the Valkyrie we're sent by Odin to take on Hela and Odin most likely took on Surtur as well to keep some sort of order and peace on the Nine Realms. The "Eternal Flame", that which powers up Surtur is in Odin's safe so most likely and following the comics that was taken away from Surtur in a battle millennia ago. So Odin fought these threats, defeated/imprisoned them and even took away their source of power to have it safe on Asgard and close to him we're he could keep it in check with his own power while these threats we're "kept at bay" in their own realms. The Celestials?
...Odin, king of the gods and former ruler of Asgard, was aware of certain major looming cosmic dangers... Odin was doing far more than it seemed on the surface to keep the universe safe. That there were all these threats that he had quelled or was keeping at bay, using his strength and power to do so.
Maybe. We'll have to wait and see.so next week the final trailer for Thor R?

LOCAL cast, crew and VIPs will be the first to see Chris Hemsworth on the big screen in Marvel Studios Thor: Ragnarok when the film premieres on the Gold Coast.
Event Cinema Robina will host the Australian premiere of the all-star blockbuster on Friday, October 13 almost two weeks before it opens in Australian cinemas.
Filmed on the Gold Coast from July to October last year, Thor: Ragnarok opens in Australia on October 26 a week before its rolled out in US cinemas on November 3.
The films Australian premiere will take over the entire Event Cinema Robina complex to accommodate local cast and crew, celebrity guests, VIPs and media.
Event Queensland marketing manager (SEQ) Kristie Pain said the Coast cinema complex was thrilled to be rolling out the red carpet for the hottest premiere in town.
We are delighted to be the host venue for the event and cant wait for movie goers to see this film on our screens when it opens in cinemas, she said.
The Robina site, which has seven traditional cinemas, a Vmax theatre and three Gold Class cinemas, can accommodate more than 2000 people.
The third stand-alone film about Hemsworths Asgardian superhero, Thor: Ragnarok has become one of Marvel Studios most highly anticipated releases thanks to the stellar record of its director, New Zealand comedian and filmmaker Taika Waititi.
The first trailer for the film became Marvel and Disneys most watched ever when it was released in April, clocking up more than 136 million views in 24 hours.
Waititi oversaw an all-star cast for Ragnarok, his first big-budget studio picture, with Cate Blanchett and Jeff Goldblum joining returning Thor favourites Sir Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston and Mark Ruffalo.
The blockbuster was a departure of sorts for Waititi, whose previous indie hits include the award-winning comedy/dramas Boy and Hunt For The Wilderpeople.
Special effects played a crucial role in realising Waititis vision for the film, with motion capture and advanced SFX technology playing as big a part in the action as the actors themselves.
But but but he didn't mention Surtur.......

	I noticed this as well.
I hope a fight with him is an act 4. They defeat Hela and the monsters. Then Asgard vs Surtur.

I highly doubt they would do that. For the 50th time, Hela is the primary villain of this film, NOT Surtur. They're not going to completely overshadow her by giving the climactic battle to someone else. The hero's big final fight is always against the Big Bad, that's a CBM staple.
Thor defeating Hela before the big final fight would be crap (especially considering the director, cast and producer have all repeatedly talked about how supremely powerful she is) and I, for one, would be incredibly disappointed.

I badly want this movie to be out. I really can't understand how people can bring up comic book movie fatigue. I badly need my fix for the newest MCU movie. I have to wait til November. Also, I totally just booked my ticket for opening day. I'm so damn excited, I can't believe it's only 4 weeks on Tuesday, it feels like I've been waiting for this film forever.t:
If I were a betting man I would beat on it being a draw, you know how Marvel Studios LOVE inconclusive hero vs hero fights (which is getting old).
It's most likely going to be some sort of a draw. And even though it might be getting old the draw is a result that perfectly fits the "Thor vs Hulk" rivalry. They should be evenly matched, that's what also makes their partnership/rivalry so special... always trying to "one up" each other, friendly rivalry, Thor knows that Hulk is no joke and Hulk knows that Thor will never back down from proving he is as powerful if not more than the Hulk. Thor is the one character the can really connect with the Hulk and have a friendly bond.If I were a betting man I would beat on it being a draw, you know how Marvel Studios LOVE inconclusive hero vs hero fights (which is getting old).
Yeh the chasing through the streets is still a mystery. And the "lightning factor" is still wrapped tight. I don't think Hulk has an obedience disk on him at least we can't see any. He is the Champion and the obedience disk phase is most likely long gone. He enjoys being on Sakaar and is worshiped there so no need to control him.Putting together the Thor Hulk fight is fun to speculate on since there seems to be so many bits and pieces to it (chasing through the streets, the lightning factor). Anyone think that Thor destroys both Hulk's and his own disk? Which is why they end up having the conversation in Hulk's room? I tend to agree that we don't see Banner right away because he's clueless about their fight until Thor tells him about it.
