funny that shot shows a kingsman standee when at my viewing of it last night they showed what I thouht was a thor trailer but as the thor / hulk fight was about to start; Loki's cell phone ringer went off and the grandmaster, thor and everyone else started looking around for the one holding the phone. Loki looks around trying to find a place to hide and says "I have to find a way out of this universe" It was more fun than all the trailers shown.

Ah, that sounds like the 'policy trailer' that we were talking about a few pages ago, it sounds fun. :woot: So if there is indeed a policy trailer like that document posted on reddit said, maybe there is another trailer to come like it also said... hmmm.

It's not particularly unlikely that Marvel counters the next JL trailer with something of their own, be it Ragnarok or Infinity War.

Haven't seen or heard about that footage. So i guess it is something they made to just remind people to leave their mobiles off or with no sound during the movie.

Or Black Panther.

Or Black Panther.

I thought about adding that but didn't as I think that's less likely than the other two. Ragnarok is likely because it's about to come out, and IW is likely because there's demand and buzz for a trailer. The first full trailer for BP will come a bit later I think.

I was thinking about this the other day and i feel that Thor Ragnarok could very well be as good of a film(or even better) as the first GOTG which i love and is one of my favorites MCU movies. It's without a doubt a tall order and something very hard to accomplish but i see plenty of potential and margin for that to become a reality. In terms of impact in the MCU i have little to no doubt that it will have a massive impact as GOTG had but in terms of a parallel in overall quality here is my reasoning.

The things i appreciated most about GOTG were the characters, the chemistry between them, the world building, the story, the use and choice of music, the humor and the heart of it all. They had also James Gunn which hadn't directed much previously. Now when i look at Thor Ragnarok i see a lot of the same traits.

If i had to point some small things GOTG was lacking a bit i would say the villain which was ok but nothing special, maybe the action wasn't much and the ending was good but it certainly could have been better too. These are things that TR seems to have a pretty solid hold on, Cate Blanchett's Hela looks to be the best MCU villain yet and knowing that we have Loki there too... Way more action and certainly there is going to be plenty memorable sequences. The ending at this point is everyone's guess but from the IW footage things will definitely end up with a bang. Then again not saying TR is gonna hit all the other highs GOTG did but some of the "lows" seems to be pretty well covered so it's a question of being able to deliver in the other fronts. Let's wait and see if it does.

No movie is really perfect but some like GOTG are very good and i expect fully TR to be one of those movies. One of the best in the MCU.

Yeah the action in Guardians of The Galaxy wasn't that great and the main villain was "alright".

Seems like those two things won't be the case in Ragnarok.

The action and villain are looking out of this world so far.

Sure doesn't sound more fun.

Is the blonde with Loki Sigyn? There is a blonde fighting beside him in the trailers, too. It would be interesting to see how Loki deals with his wife (plus it would enrage a few obsessed fangirls).

France.

Asgardian throne wall from TR. A decor most likely ordered by Loki.

I think it's Frigga. Odin's wife and Loki's adoptive mother.

Yes, it's Frigga and it's very telling that Thor and Odin are together in one part and Frigga and Loki together in the other. From what we've seen that fits exactly with how Loki would see his family.

One thing i gotta give props to T:TDW was the beautiful and impactful way they dealt with Frigga's death.
