The only thing they've been tweeting about has been NYCC booth announcements, a little Hulk video for Ragnarok, tuning into their Marvel Live @ NYCC, Inhumans tomorrow night, more Marvel Live & THWIP, and the Black Panther YA novel (Marvel UK twitter has thrown in a World Teachers Day appreciation tweet)

Edit: plus I get notification pop ups from them on my desktop any time they tweet... so even if they had tweeted (and subsequently deleted a tweet) I still would have seen something.

No clue. My guess and what i hope is that it's some kind of misdirect.

The more i think about that scene that features the destruction of mjolnir the more i think that moment is indeed real and part of the movie... they have changed where mjolnir is ultimately destroyed. It's no longer in an alley but in some field. Why the change? I really don't know but if the change was made then something didn't really flow that well concerning that scene and in the context of the movie so they addressed/changed it most likely after they had a good look at an early cut of the film.

Their assumptions in the article seem to be well formed and one can easily believe their theory. Personally i gotta say i am totally fine with them making changes and trying to achieve the best result possible as long as those changes are well addressed and taken care of so that it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb later. Right now is a bit of a shock and weird seeing that different background but it could very well play smoothly in the context of the movie.

Anyways i am totally hyped with everything else i have seen from this movie. Hela looks epic, the action looks awesome, the humor is really good breath of fresh air, the character interactions sound great, it looks really good... So i am confident the end product will be very good despise a change here and there.

I'm fine if they want to change the location for story reasons I just hope they're able to touch up the CGI to hold up in the new lighting in the following weeks. It's fine if you want to change the backdrop but the rest of the composition is going to need work to match or else it really does look like a "last minute" change.

So that's my main concern here. I just hope the sudden change doesn't result in a drop of visual quality.

Some people are already saying that they went to a "3D Sneak Peek" of the movie so we should be getting some more details soon. Hopefully we could get some inside info of what that footage was all about and how was it...

The upcoming Marvel superhero feature “Thor: Ragnarok” (directed by Taika Waititi of “What We Do in the Shadows” fame) will find a temporary home in the Sunset Showcase Theater in Disney California Adventure‘s Hollywood Land area starting tomorrow, October 6th and running through Friday, November 10th– one week after the film hits theaters.

In addition to screening a select portion of the film in 3D with special in-theater effects, California Adventure’s sneak peek will also include a lobby display of an assortment of props and costumes used during production.
