TitanFall

Footage from the beta has leaked. It looks really damn good

Interesting. I checked out the leaked footage as well, and I'm still just as confused as to why this game is being so hyped. :/

Prob has to do with the fact it's made by the ppl who did CoD. It does seem to have that twitch type gameplay that has helped make CoD so incredibly popular.

Plus, Mechs.

I'm digging it because I'm dying for a new MP game and the gameplay looks unique to what iv been playing(mainly just the Battlefield series)

Plus, Mechs.

Maximilian on youtube played the alpha, and if his reaction is anything to go off, Titanfall is going to be a big deal. The man knows his fighters and his shooters and if he is digging what he has played, that is all I need.

Just about everyone who has played it has come away super impressed. MS was wise to lock the game up.

Good to here. My question now is whether to get it for the PC or wait until I get an X-box One.

On the Titanfall Origin page it had at one point "The Beta is coming" or something similar so hopefully they also at least bring it 2 the XBOX One

And to add on to that, these guys know how to do multiplayer. Cod may be hated but there is no denying how good Modern Warfare 1 and 2's mp was.

The Xbox 360 version of Titanfall is being developed by a studio responsible for great HD ports of PlayStation 2 titles.

I suspect even if it is just as much fun, the 360 version won't be as polished.

If this game lives up to expectations Microsoft should really do their best to secure an exclusive future for the series, even if it means breaking the bank. They have a mountain to climb to match Sony on exclusive single player experiences after the PS3 but with Halo, Gears & TitanFall would be very hard to beat on the multiplayer exclusive front.

Pretty much guaranteed.

I don't see how they could. Im pretty damn sure Titanfall is going to be a major success and EA is gonna want to really expand that IP going forward. MS would have to toss too much money to justify EA keeping it on one platform.

I agree though, it would deff be in MS's best interest to lock it up, im just not sure that option will even be there.

I'm still not feeling the game no matter how much gameplay I see. It just feels like a regular shooter...except you can jump into a mech and shoot some more.

I don't see MS locking this up.. They would almost have to buy the series from EA a d then it's sequel(s) probably wouldn't be made by Respawn... I just don't see that happening. Hell, I still wouldn't be shocked to see Titanfall: Kronos Edition or whatever to appear on PS4. Not saying it's going to.. But EA has a habit of getting out of their exclusive agreements and they're gonna want money from this across the board.

Yeah, if EA even gets a glimpse that this is popular enough and could be the "next COD" there is no way the sequel stays exclusive.

Especially after the disaster Battlefield 4. It was a down year of Cod this year and they should have taken over but they decided to screw that up completely. They'll need Titanfall multiplatform even though the sequel won't here til 2016-17

Sequel should hold off that long.. But it's EA.. They'll force a second one out within a year. :/

I read how Dice didn't want BF4 out at launch but EA forced them to put it out at launch.

It pretty much is just a standard shooter with added mechs. But a standard shooter by the name of CoD also happens to be one of the most popular games on the planet.
