At this point I will be shocked if the 360 version ever comes out.
The 360 version is going to be their big money maker. It won't be delayed again
I like that you can use free running and parkour, but the maps don't really seem to be laid out in a way to allow you to do those things. It seems like it would work more with a single-player campaign that this game doesn't have.
That's wierd because just watching videos from Ign and GameSpot and few others completely contradict what you're saying about the balance and the free running but I suppose everyone's play experience is different
I mean in that respect, it seems to be an unbalanced feature. The way these MP matches are set up, the free running doesn't seem to work very well unless you are some uber badass pro gamer. Its probably more that you just need an eye for the places you can use the 'free running' rather than the levels not being laid out for it. I read another article that mentioned something similar, where the previewer felt he wasn't able to do those moves for one reason or another but players around him were. So it was just a matter of learning the mechanics, which can be hard in the middle of a MP match.
Those guys doing it are the ones that probably made the game though and aren't looking at it from the perspective of picking up and playing the game.Yea thats why i say the free running stuff is just a matter of learning whats there, its not a map layout issue. In all the videos iv been watching, the user doesnt seem to have an issue. It prob just take some time to learn the mechanics and the map layout. Angel City certainly has plenty of free running opportunities.
I just saw a pretty BA video on IGN tho. The dude was playing the conquest mode(or whatever its called here) and he rolled up on 2 Titans taking a point so he started to engage them and they pretty much had him dead to rights then out of no where you see 2 of his buddies roll up in Titans and just thrash everyone. Damn that was sick. Cant wait to experience those moments myself.
I think it would have been a much bigger increase if they weren't releasing on 360. And the guys making the game might not want to go exclusive but if it was a possibility it would be worth it (assuming the game meets expectations). Big multiplayer games can really move systems nowadays.I think so. I think Ms will see quite the increase. So much so they'll look into making it an exclusive series. Not saying they will but they'll seriously look into it... Can you imagine e3 this year if they announce that this thing is exclusive

And I just think the wall bounces and combat...it just hasn't been integrated very well.
Also what I mean is, the maps we were allowed to play were in these very wide open type of areas that didn't have much in the way of vertical height.
Yeah, all those Halo lovers who have switched will be back for Halo 5 if it lives up to its potential. I'm not even into Halo that much (love it but more as a neutral) but that game has more multiplayer history than CoD & Battlefield. I think people want to to relive that, especially if they can get one or 2 of their friends from those days (Halo 1, 2 & 3) back to play with. Plus a lot of others are just waiting for it before they upgrade. I know a lot of people I used to play Gears 2 Horde with (used to be nearly 100% of my friends list) would buy it on the spot if they brought Horde back with a vengeance on the next Gears game.A friend of mine just texted me. He picked up a One tonight just for Titanfall... And Halo of course.
So I have a feeling TF will move systems.

I don't see the series being permanently exclusive. It's been pretty well reported that Respawn, Vince Zampella in particular, was extremely annoyed that EA went behind their backs and made the series exclusive to the Xbox. Respawn owns the IP and their publishing deal with EA is for only one game, so if this isn't a temporary exclusive, I don't see Respawn allowing the second game to be exclusive.I think it would have been a much bigger increase if they weren't releasing on 360. I think Respawn would rather have their IP be more valuable by being on all systems and actually wants as many people as possible to play their game. I don't think that it was blown out of proportion at all, I think Zampella was genuinely annoyed by how EA made the deal behind their back, essentially undid the work they were planning for the PlayStation versions, and restricted the amount of people who would be playing their game. Respawn was formed due to Zampella's bad experience with Activision and the company prides on its independence. EA kinda took a **** on that with the deal.I think people are blowing the "extremely annoyed" reaction WAY out of proportion. Vince made like one comment on the topic and it certainly wasn't one of "extreme annoyance". It's very possible MS decides to bid for the publishing rights next go round and with the success of CoD on MS's console, that's something Respawn would consider.
I can definitely see the DLC releasing first on Xbox with future Titanfall titles. With all that said though, I agree in that I don't think the series remains exclusive. I don't think it'll matter too much though from MS's perspective, going forward this series will be tied to the Xbox name and it's always going to do better on Microsofts consoles. Im sure we'll see "DLC released first on Xbox" all over again
