Whatever it is, its 7 or 8 feet tall. I've heard mentioned it could be a robot or maybe some kinda armour that Zod is wearing.Would be a bit silly. Eh. I just think it is more likely Brainiac or Darkseid would willingly work with them. If this is even a known character. Hopefully it doesn't just end up being a huge random Kryptonian to fight.

It looks like crap. It needs something to brake up all that blue. That's what the shorts was for in in the first place.
That is NOT Superman and I won't be spending my money on it.
I dont see them using Brainiac or Darkseid in this..they deserve their on films. If it is just Zod with armor that would be the lamest thing ever. I'm hoping one of the big 3 for fan favs "Metallo, Brainiac, Darkseid"

Metallo?? maybe, but I would think Lex would have been mentioned if metallo were to be in it.
I made that point already the first time I mentioned them.

I actually really like that design. This was the MCG's costume

t: Be careful, we don't want to jinx it.Loving the pics of the damage and whatnot. If this much destruction happens in smallville, then I hope its X 10 in Metropolis.

I love the streamlined look of it, I wouldn't mind a little red on the belt but it looks great!!!

Well Another Superman movie ruin by Hollywood.![]()

I guess I'm not entirely convinced yet that it's Shannon in that mo-cap suit with the giant height extender. Why would Zod be 8+ feet and some inches tall, but Faora wouldn't?I have no idea if they're right, but according to latino review, thats michael shannon with the mo-cap gear on.
''Second observation: Is General Zod going Green Lantern style and getting a motion-captured costume? Because thats Michael Shannon wearing the mo-cap greys, and hes the new Zod''

Indeed...I do have to point out, though, that whoever it is in the mo-cap suit... has got some serious back. Like, damn.

Or perhaps he is hovering a few feet above Superman and some shots will be done cgi without wire work, so they need the marker for the height they want him at.
yup!this is quite sad and pathetic for a number of reasons, chief among them being you haven't even seen a good clear shot of the thing yet. Get a grip.
I can understand being disappointed at the differences from the classic look, but to say it isn't superman? That's the worst sort of fanboy hyperbole and one of the reasons comic book fans have the laughable reputation that we do.
