I absolutely LOVE that trailer! But what is the picture of Clark with red eyes from? It's not one of the RedK eps. It looks like Splinter, but only if they added in the red to his eyes. It's kind of creepy. I like it.

This kind of post does two things.
1. It implies he's not Superman. Bzzzzzzzz
Thomas Cruise Mapother IV is also Tom Cruise
Mark Vincent is also Vin Diesel
And at every point in their lives they've still been those men. You can change the name, but the name doesn't change the person. Superman is just a title Clark Kent uses when he's saving people. Does it mean he doesn't save anyone till he changes his name? If you watch the show you know the answer.

2. That there should be some kind of debate about whether he IS Superman or not. That sounds dangerously like it could stray a little to far; and by a little to far I mean:

In The second half of Now Playing.com’s interview with Smallville co-creator Al Gough tells NP that Clark Will wear The Super suit in The series finale.


Here's a brief snippet from the article:

“I say seven seasons,” Gough admits. “It seems to be what shows in this genre can do and do well. Certainly in our case suddenly you’re bumping up against ‘Why the ***** isn’t he putting on the suit?’ I say that’s probably a good number. Will it end with him putting on the suit? And Lex making that last step to evil? Yeah, absolutely.”
