This show really is cringe worthy. It's like, "Let's make it racey, lots of gender bending and everything revolves around the sexual aspects"

It would do better to focus on the narrative and the organisation itself, this super high tech secret group, is actually just a slightly better version of the police, with less organisation, no source of structure or funding and the whole thing is a farce.

In the first series, there were about 4 good episodes, hopefully they'll make more this time.

Indeed the whole premise of Torchwood itself has been spoken about more in DR WHO.

I liked the first episode. I like the more comedic take they're going with this season. The show lacked some drama because I honestly don't give a **** whether any of these characters live or die (excpet maybe Toshi), but the episode was pretty good. I didn't mind Jack and John making out--they're both from the future, where everyone ****s everything, so it made sense in that context. I still don't understand why Ianto suddenly switched teams to **** Jack, but I guess he could just be bisexual. Gwen continues to be a vapid *****e and I hate her even more for accepting Rhys' (I think that's how his crazy Welsh name is spelled) proposal. Poor dude's just gonna get hurt more and more by that ****.

I like her character I think she is plenty interesting enough.

I will say that the Torchwood characters are interesting too but for all the wrong reasons.
