Great! Thanks for the spoiler, guys! :cmad: :csad:

Tosh's death, final episode of the season? I think in the US we have, what.. 2 more before the finale? An episode airs tonight over here.

sorry DB but think of it as karma for all the crap we in the uk get spoiled by you guys all the time:oldrazz:

Just caught up with the finale this evening...

Tosh's death was very well handled. Didn't see it coming and it was very moving. Owen's final demise would have been better had we actually seen what was so teasingly described. As is we can only assume his body did indeed rot away.
And Jack's being buried alive for nearly 2,000 years?...I'd have found that better had they shown him go a just a wee bit mental from the experience - if you think about it he would have spent something like half that time in a state of perpetual suffocation - the other half perhaps needed to revive - I don't care how well adjusted you are a thousand years buried alive constantly choking on dirt has gotta take a toll on your sanity!! As shown though he emerged from the experience in surprisingly sound mind

All in all though, enjoyable stuff, and a light year ahead of the Doctors latest outing (imo).

I saw the finale yesterday myself. Actually pretty good, although it felt a bit rushed. I wish we could've gotten more on Gray's motivation, too. Flashbacks, at least. As it stands, it seems like he's just whining at Jack. I never really felt the gravity of his situation.

I'm looking forward to the new team members next season. Figures that they'd kill off the two people who aren't attracted to Jack, though...

Certainly a standout episode of "Torchwood". Didn't expect the death(s). As mentioned previously, I'd like to a few scenes next season where Jack goes mental after being buried alive for 2000 years.

She could, I'm sure. I suspect it'll be new people, though. Unless, like Martha, they just rehire an established Who actor and claim that Owen was his cousin or some nonsense.

If they are really going adult, hire some adult actors. I think we need a wise figure, A dumbledore type somewhere in the Who Universe. I would also like to see an alien or android.

so who would be the actual leader of the team now going into series 3?? any guesses??

That would be the gay american guy. Captain Jack!

I read somewhere that Barrowman was taking a reduced role because he wants to return to stage work...intresting bit of trivia, both Mori(Tosh) and Barrowman starred together in Miss Saigon on Broadway, years ago...I believe it was her first role on Broadway...

Nah, Barrowman is loving his celeb status in the U.K. He is everywhere when you turn the telly on....

He is now doing a quiz show, it looks like a total rip off of Are You Smarter Than A Ten Year Old. :o

Got to say he is starting to annoy me. I hate Noel Edmonds more thoough and I always have. He brings total meaning to mangina.

I gotta admit, JB can be irritating, but I still  him, but Noel Edmunds must murn in the purple flames of tartarus. :cmad:

actually he was born in Scotland, just raised in America....so he is a gay Scotsman

Everyone knows that he lived in America from the ages 8 to 24, but he said he never felt at home in America because until he dropped his accent he was ridiculed and actually stood up at the prom for wearing a kilt. :o

Yea, well thats' what he gets for growing up in Middle America...they don't cotton to men in kilts....seriously thats crappy, He has a strong following in the theatre community here in the states and its growing due to doctor who and Torchwood...at the Torchwood panel at SDCC last year, he was extremely well received...

Meh, too little too late. :o

We really don't want him....

No...its ok please take him back....on topic...I understand why Gwen is there, she has that everywoman vibe, she is supposed to be the access point for the audience but I don't think the show needs that at this point. I'm hoping something big and scary eats her sometime soon.
