Maybe it's me. I thought the 456 in their chamber looked stupid. Keeping them hidden was cool, but the projectile vomiting threw me. Every time it's talking and then starts violently spewing green crap everywhere, I think, "Oooh, they're gonna play Double Dare!"

It just brings the tone down. It goes from suspenseful and serious to comical and stupid. Not to mention the stupid stock noise they use.

But they weren't violent or angry. They appeared to be perfectly calm throughout all their dealings with the Earthlings. They were sinister and intended to murder a lot of people, but they were never really angry.
