This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]492525[/split]
I thought the voice was Tim Nelson/Mole Man probably from somewhere before the FF's accident.
It didn't sound like Tim Nelson, it sounds like Toby Kebbell. Plus the person that Reed is interacting with is clearly shown to be Doom, strapped to a table. I could be wrong but I strongly feel that was what the trailer was presenting.
As we know we will get our first glimpse at the fantastic four along with the release of kingsman the secret service February 13 and possibly as early as July 29th if were lucky. I know everyone has given up on this movie but that's kind of harsh given that we have nothing official as of yet. Will the fan-boy assumptions be proven wrong? Possibly, possibly not.
I plan to analyze this trailer in hope to find some good news. WBU?
How much can we expect to be revealed besides the tone of the movie and a few shots of the actors?
Do you think we will see the fantastic four in any group shots or perhaps in "costume"? Perhaps a glimpse at the new origin story?
Will we see Doom or be given any information on his character?
And most importantly will this trailer confirm or deny the state that the movie is believed to be in?
We will know in just a few short weeks, about 9 days if we are lucky. I personally think we deserve something maybe a still or logo to hold us over in the meantime.
this post is a couple of weeks old. are you that desperate to argue with everyone? The teaser dropped a few weeks back. You've been out of the loop, haven't you?

You don't need to "live on the Hype", you just have to be familiar with how thread manager reboots threads. It happens every day, it isn't some great unknowable mystery.
That voiceover works for everything jeez.
i read that they showed a slightly different trailer with the kingsman but i'm not sure what was different

But do you see the problem?
Carefully select scenes from a film and put a dramatic sounding voiceover on it and you can create the illusion that the film is an epic science fiction film.
We all know that the first film wasn't an epic science fiction film, but it sure looks like one in that trailer (and, frankly, looks like a MUCH better film than the new one).
Which means if you liked the trailer for this film because it made it look like an epic science fiction film, you could be terribly disappointed - particularly when those involved have told us this is a 'grounded and gritty' film rather than an epic science fiction film.
I would feel a lot better now if we had seen the Thing looking like the Thing and Dr. Doom looking like Dr. Doom and the FF looking like the FF in the trailer, but based on the scenes we saw, we have no rational reason to believe this film is going to be anything but a sloppy, low-budget, boring film that doesn't show us anything like the Fantastic Four.
We can clearly see now that an apples to apples comparison between the Story and Trank films makes the Story film look far superior and much more spectacular. That doesn't mean it's impossible that they've got a great film that they haven't shown us yet, but based on what we've seen so far there is absolutely no reason to be excited about this film.
A few seconds of people in space-suits with a dramatic voice over does not ensure an epic film. As is clearly illustrated here:
Willie... No. No, in fact it's all very subjective no matter how you slice it. It's not a math equation Reed, dear. I thought the teaser was serviceable for the film (in other words, as a trailer in and of itself, it was ok) but I did like what it showed, the tone ect. and... I am excited, more now than before so... Yeah.
PS: Long time FF fan going back to when Byrne was on the title. My last actual physical issue I bought was probably the FF meets God (Kirby) issue by Waid. So... There are heretics who have made rational judgments that they are okay with what they have seen. Again... aint nothing objective about art, but so many fanboys act as though Einstein himself worked on the Grand Unified Theory of Arts and Entertainment, or that there are universally agreed upon "Art Equations".
It's funny to me that way back Willie predicted this exact trailer to a T and now some of you have a problem that he's not impressed with it.
