Sci-Fi Tron: Ares with Jared Leto

I had hoped for better projects for Greta Lee and Jodie Turner-Smith than a new Tron movie directed by Joachim Ronning and starring Jared Leto…

Well at least Greta Lee still has Spider-Verse :D

The good news is that Jodie Turner-Smith dodged a bullet in The Witcher prequel.

I still can’t figure out why they think this movie will be a hit with Leto. That dude seems to have burned away any good will he had built up with his method acting BS, so much so that his Joker and Morbius characters have become widely mocked memes. I’m not saying he should never be cast in anything again but I just don’t think there is interest from anyone in seeing him lead big franchises. Especially ones like Tron, that have always struggled to connect with mainstream audiences.

The only thing giving me small hope is Greta Lee who's apparently the lead in this, not Leto.

Is Leto's character going to be like CLU's successor trying to take over the world?

He needs a few lower profile hits to rehabilitate his image IMO before leading big franchises again.

I wasn't going to watch this because Jared Leto, but... damn, I like Cameron Monaghan too much to not at least be a little interested.

They're trying their damnest for me to get excited about it and it's working.

This was supposed to start shooting in August, doesn't look like that's happening now.

And when I say two, I of course mean the twin brother characters Jerome and Jeremiah, we had in the Gotham show. Leto is obviously the goat. :o:o

Bruh, I will not tolerate Cameron Monaghan slander on here. Even for most folks who overall disliked Gotham, he was one of the most enjoyable parts of the show. Not to mention he's a pretty good actor everywhere else as well.
