True Blood - Part 4

I don't even know of an ending that would really satisfy me. This season hasn't even felt like "the end"

I know an ending to this series that would be awesome. Every main character dies except Jessica and she becomes the new queen vamp of Bon Temps. She sits on Erics throne in Fangtasia and does sort of a mic drop and we see Ginger still on the floor from her weird shag with Eric. Then the screen fades to black with the True Blood logo. That ending would be better than majority of the seasons of the show itself. LOL

I always enjoyed Hoyt and Jess so I love that they got together but man tat all happened way too fast. The girlfriend was annoying me. She needed to calm the hell down and the way she was acting was the perfect way to lose a man. Was surprised at Jason for not having sex with her.

LMAO at Ginger getting the best orgasm of her life

My favorite part was Pam and her ****e talk LOL

So James as well as Sam and his pregnant girl just up and disappeared? Will they even appear again?

Its about time! Only picked it up like 10 episodes later.

She was right.

He had no reason to be digging in the past if he was perfectly content with his current girlfriend.

It's like your girlfriend visiting her ex to see if she still loves him.
IDA bc most people don't have vampire, supernatural and all that weird stuff in their lives. At the very least he was manipulated and his memory was messed with. I don't see how he could choose to just stay put and not find out the truth about what happened to him

So, are they just going to go full stand-off murder **** at Sookie's house for the last 45 minutes?>

That Ginger/Eric scene was the funniest damn scene of the series! Unlike the majority I'm not a big Jessica fan but I love the actress, the whole Jess and Hoytt thing is just...
And at this point both Sookie and Bill can die for all I care. Give me a show with Eric and Pam and I would be a happy camper, just don't let the team running TB now have anything to do with it.

I really miss how "grindhouse horror camp" this show used to be. Once in a while, that camp comes out for a bit and it's a lot of fun. The storylines and the abundance of characters have made this show so, so, SO messy though. Convoluted doesn't begin to cover how this show has been handled. If they had kept the stories simple and not added too many characters to keep track of, the show would have remained much more fun.

Also, the show's writing really shot themselves in the feet when they killed off The Authority two seasons ago. They totally should have saved that for this season (without the whole Hep-V nonsense, of course). That, and they shouldn't have killed Russell Edgington and Queen Sophie Anne so soon. They were both so fabulous and INTERESTING.

Bill Compton should have become a side character a long time ago. I really do believe that Anna Paquin and Steven Moyer's real-life marriage has hindered and controlled the show's writing in so many ways. I mean, I'm glad they're happy in real life and everything, but it hurt the show big time.

Bill has been such a huge drag this season. For the last few episodes his scenes have bored me silly and killed the pacing of the episodes.

I never felt that. Up until this season, Bill and Sookie haven't been an item in ages. I actually appreciated that they weren't written as a OTP but then they realized the show was ending and threw them back together even though it happened way too fast and not organic at all. Before this though, I felt Bill/Sookie were over and she had moved on. That pairing wasn't leading the show

The only fun camp and slight realism we have... is every time we check in on Jason, he's doing something ridiculous in his house (cooking mac & cheese, last night) and doing something extravagant to get somewhere (spend a minute looking for his keys, last night).

Yeah it is hard to feel bad for her considering everything she has done.

The past ep felt like an episode of Dawson's Creek.

True Blood is exactly like a Telenovela these days, there's no real threat anymore, no more "horror"or anything. Most of the characters left don't have anything interesting to do/aren't really interesting to begin with imo, so here I go:

Decent way of ending Sam's story, considering the mess he was involved into as well for these past seasons. Nothing special as his story this season, but simple, so I'm glad we could save screen time for the finale, for other (A BIT, JUST A BIT!) more important things in this show!

Arlene was finally OK to watch for the second part of this season, seeing her happy is what makes her character somewhat enjoyable, but it's a bit too late now after she was annoying for 6 and a half seasons.

Jason telling Hoyt & Jessica's story was so "beautifully made"it had me laughing lol, but at least he hasn't slept with Bridgette. And although it seems forced and a bit rushed now to be honest, it's obvious what they wanted to do here: to get Jess & Hoyt back together and to have J connect with Bridgette, the latter at least seems way too forced on the characters, but anyways, nothing surprising anymore in TB. Sarah Newlin really needs to be punished really hard, then killed by Eric by the end of the season! Eh whats left? Lafayette, Andy, James... ? Bunch of other uninteresting "stories", even if the characters have potential, some of them.

Best part of this ep? Eric doing Ginger (or rather Ginger doing HERSELF on Eric'hahaha!). Sad, but true, it was the best part of the episode. I think that when the show started, it was really promising and this comes from a guy who can't dig all these new cheesy ""modern vamps"" tv shows and movies (EG Twilight, Vamp Diaries and such). Apart from those Bill & Sookie love moments, the show had promise and interesting stuff in it! But then it all went the ****ter after season 2. Ironically, as a side note: I started to like Bill more and more since he detached himself from Sookie (maybe because the corny moments between them weren't there anymore? IDK).

Bill + Sookie = boring
Sam + Tara = pointless this season

Eric + Pam's storyline is the only thing holding this season together

I'm glad Hoyt and Jessica are back together actually. This show is unfortunately way past it's prime and I'm glad it's ending tonight....

This ending doesn't work for me, only because it kills Eric and Pam, which is the best this the show has going for it right now.

Dun dun dun the final episode approaches. I am bracing myself for disappointment, and the slight possibility that I may be surprised.

I wouldn't hold my breath, lol. :p

I'll need to stay off this thread to avoid spoilers since episode 8 is just coming on tomorrow. Might watch the rest online.

I'll be doing the same, I'm catching a later showing of the finale myself.
