Damn. He's quite a bit shorter than Routh.

Everyone is quite a bit shorter than Routh....lol

He would not however be shorter than Cavill..

We better never get a shot of Superman and Jimmy like that.

Based on how much Hoechlin was promoted at SDCC, seems like he might be a semi-regular... :hmm

The cast is hoping for that.....from how they were talking.

I'm wondering. Superman, Flash, and Martian Manhunter. 3 members of the JL. Think they'll let Batman show up in one of the CW shows at some point? Or a possible JL lineup for tv couldgo

Atom(Replacing Cyborg)
Flash
Arrow(Replacing Batman)
Superman
Supergirl(Replacing Wonder Woman)
Firestorm(Replacing Green Lantern/Shazam)
Hawkgirl(Replacing Aquaman)

How is that?

Hawkgirl isn't going to be around anymore for Season 2 of Legends of Tomorrow. I think they're done with her character.

But if we're rumoured to have Batwoman in Supergirl, then why not Batwoman instead of Batman?

Hawkgirl and Hawkman are not done, they're just not series regulars this year. I can't imagine they won't show up on at least one of the Arrowverse shows at some point this season.

I certainly wouldn't mind if they don't, though. Especially Stalkman. Good lord, he drained the energy out of every scene he shared with anyone. Best thing he did for the show was die.

I thought they said they are done with them though, because their story has been told and there's nowhere else really to go with them.

And I agree that Hawkman was terrible and wooden and made every scene he was in worse.

The gang (jokingly) talk to E Online about Tyler's Superman suit (and thus usher him into the insanity)

"It's a nice Armani with a really, really sweet tie," joked costar Chyler Leigh. Added Hoechlin, "it's a three-piece, really classic, bow tie. It's going to be great."
:hehe: :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:

Yup, it's official, Tyler is now insane! But the group also explains why Dancing with The Stars and The Voice are their biggest threats.

Its not official until he gets a picture with a donut.

That's right....the donut tells the truth.

When is Tyler's Superman supposed to appear on the show? I ask because I know filming started today and I wasn't sure. In any case, I hope they release an official look at Tyler in the suit at some point.

Just need to get rid of his perpetual 5 o'clock shadow. Otherwise, yeah, that hair is perfect.

^the guys gonna have to shave between scenes to hide that stubble lol

Well, unless they give him peanuts to flick at a bar, and the Tower of Piza to straighten. :o

His hair certainly looks more Supermanly than Henry Cavill's.

I think if he were about 5 or even 10 years older, he'd look like a very classic Superman right out of the comics. In that picture above he already does, but I don't know if he always does in every shot. I think the added age factor would help there, and possibly also if he had more size to him.

In a way, I don't mind him being late-20's. Just about every Superman actor that has played him so far has been mid to late-20's.

As far as Supergirl's Superman being older (was that ever established?), couldn't they always retcon that?

He had been on earth since he was a baby....she was in the Phantom Zone for 24 years....MEANING, when she finally made it to earth, she was still 12, and he was at least 24...soooooo, now 12 years later, that would make him at least 36. BUT......it has nothing to do with the #, it has everything to do with his look (IMO, he looks older, mainly because she looks younger than her actual age), AND.....how he is written. So there is no need for a retcon, nor will they do that....the first episode is going to go straight from the finale.
