Uuhh uuuhh uuhhh! (zombie talk for...THE OFFICIAL 'DEAD RISING' THREAD!!)

So yeah, since I'm doing the zombie killing this game, the survivors I rescue, I take with me so they can earn their safety of the security room.
The old couple on the roof in the beginning survived with me all the way to Adam the Clown and after the bathroom vent passage. We get to Paradise Plaza and Natalie and Greg die.
They deserved it. They had baseball bats to save themselves with. Natalie actually almost killed Sophia.:o
I managed to save Jeff, Bill, Burt, Aaron, Leah and Sophia though.

Alright... it seems I'm a man on a mission. I really have to find that Uzi.

It's actually very easy to just avoid the convicts all together. Just stick to the walls and make sure you know where they are to get around them.

Sometimes they get lucky and shoot me from afar, then they get closer, and keep shooting me. Since you stop moving when you get hurt, it's a death trap.

I'm starting to hate this game... well no, I'm not. It's just that the two of the best unlockables are the most boring to earn.man, I wish the power didn't go out during my 5 day survivor run :( I got the achievment, but he power went out before Zero's sword was unlocked. 6+ hours wasted.

I managed to save Jeff, Bill, Burt, Aaron, Leah and Sophia though.

Aaron is not worth saving. if he's in trouble, I usualy leave him alone. How is it a woman with a bum leg and unarmed (Leah) can hold her own, and Aaron with shotgun not only lags behind but gets in trouble the most?

Yeah I noticed that. I remembered to myself I started the game to get the zombie kills, then I got more interested in saving people again.:csad:

lol I know. I found it funny how Leah and Sophia had more zombie killings by pushing, than Aaron who I gave a baseball bat too. ike I said though, when I give them a weapon, they have to fend for themselves.:o

^Yep, I just found it yesterday when playing around with my camera.

I also got pissed as hell the other day. I was working on the Zombie Genocider acheivement, and only got to 51,000+ before time ran out.:cmad:
I tried again from the last save point, where I had 45,000, but I don't have enough time to get to the amount I need. I was so mad and sad, so I decided to go for an easier achievement so I can take a break from garage driving.:csad:

Left 4 Dead seems to relate to this, only it has four heroes instead of just one.

I think its completely different than Dead Rising. You have the choice to play as the zombies or the survivors and there is just an almost unstoppable horde of FAST moving zombies coming at you almost at all times.

Just watch one of the game play videos. It may change your mind.

I really hope one of these games comes out for wii! I just watched all the cut scenes for Dead Rising and read the wiki article... amazing game!

Thanks Whatshisface... I think? I just wish a game LIKE DR would come out for wii ya know, I'm actually thinking of getting a 360 just for DR!?

I did... I mean I knew of all the games like GTA and Assassin's Creed that were coming out, but the reason I picked one up this time last year, was Dead Rising.

Last year I asked for 4 things for my b-day/christmas. 2 of those things were X-Box 360 and Dead Rising.:o:up:

Man, just when I thought you couldn't do all the side stuff without sacrificing the main story missions, I did it with out realising I did. This game has like ZERO room to breathe it terms of time scedule. 11:00 on the second day is especialy tasking. Also got the tour guide achivement....not fun. Also noticed getting the matenence tunnel key early pays of big later in the game.

I think Dead Rising on the Wii with the ability to swing, hurl, toss, punch etc. with your Wiimote and Nunchuk would be damn fun.

All I've heard of are rumors of a Multiplayer d/l in the works for Dead Rising...is there any truth to this? I'd love to sit down with a friend and try to survive together.
