I have all ways loved the symbol that Reeve had, and the suit was purely classic. Which is why I hate when these boneheads try to put it down. It makes no sense, because Reeve actually wore the EXACT costume depicted in the comics as apposed to Routh! Great images keep 'em comin'!t:

Well here's some good news. Nich Cage is phenominal in the role of Johnny Blaze. From his crazy laugh to his firey chain of death. He fist the role like glove.

Looks like Rotten Tomatoes would agree...GR's current Tomatometer is 27% for the critics and 49% for the site's users.

I would love to see some Jim Lee type stuff in the next movie, and I hope Singer gets more creative with the angles during flight, really bringing us along with him. Hopefully they'll have another scene with Superman simply enjoying flight.

To be honest, if I ever made a Superman movie, it would look like 300. Probably shot on green-screen as well, so it's cheaper than building sets. It would look straight out of a Jim Lee comic. That's probably the greatest encarnation of Superman ever, as far as looks go. In any medium. However, simply would not work for the world Singer created, which I love, even though much different than what I would do.

ohhhhhh this was a huge problem.

but like i said it 100 times. singer wants everything simple. so he made simple flying shots. i want to by on the side of superman when he flyis fast. than teh camera should go fast around him.

i just laughed when i saw singer explaining how tehy made brandon fly.

look the wire work in the matrix movies. not the flying. the wire work. they know how to throw a guy on wires through the room. hire those guys.

i would also use a lot more greenscreen but i would try to make a real world. a huge city like in BB. i would use blue and brown filters through the movie where i would need them. no yellow filters like in SR. when i would use filters i would not make teh blue on the suit and the sky greenish.
i would try to make a mood in changing the shadows a litte. put some brown in the shadows sp that i would get that retro feel.
the movie would be bright. when i say bright i mean that everything would be visible.whats the point to make a movie so dark that you dont see sueprman? a movie is htere to watch. i need to see. SR the whole movie is dark. and dark i mean the footage is dark. the movie should be like the HD trailers. when i watch scenes from the traielr they look 2 times brighter than in the final movie.

i would use the same suit and the same colours. and i would use those colours in the movie.

I think I would use the Singer suit, with my own colors (darker blue, a bit brighter red, more regal). I just feel that it would look amazing to see Superman as if he'd come right out of the comic with huge contrast and vivid colors. That doesn't mean bright, but warm and glossy, almost, like 300.

As I've said previously - Mongul would be an excellent villain for Supes in the next film. The page above demonstrrates what he's all about.

The evil expression on his face is just chilling.

I see certain people saying that there is no press for a sequel. That it's not going to happen... It's as if some people come into these boards and never visit the main page

And then, if I'm wrong about that, for some reason WB'll be keeping their eyes on the Hulk reboot and base whether or not to make SR 2 based on that. And if they don't do that, then most certainly they will keep an eye on FF2, which is bound to be the most spectacular and well made and successful superhero movie ever made, and then they'll most certainly cancel the project after that.

And SHOULD they go with a sequel, it will be such a disaster that we won't see another Superman film for at least 70-75 years.

The film is not such a blockbuster that a follow-up is inevitable -- but not such a disappointment that a sequel would be ludicrous. After all, the first "Austin Powers" pic was a modest hit that begat two huge grossers.

Well nothing can be confirmed until there's a script. Only then can a film get the official greenlight. But from what we know, WB signed Singer to direct the sequel so things are looking good unless something happens to change things.
