Wal-Mart and Black Friday

Drakon said I'm not allowed to make anymore threads until I give him his leg back.

**** all that noise... it makes a nice Christmas tree.

Have no desire to be part of the Black Friday madness. Every so often I'll see an item that interests me, but I'll go later to pick it up. Got Call of Duty 2, 3-4 years ago for $15 Best Buy still had plenty of copies at 11am, just without the crazy shoppers. Last year, took my nieces and nephews to the movies, much better way to spend Black Friday than at the mall.

i havent been apart with black friday until this year, i have to get a big 32" or 40" LCD :D

You're right. Sales aren't that crucial that you have to wait in line at 5 in the morning to get a discount. If I saw a sale that I must have, then I'll just wait until the end of the day to get it. The real sale that people miss out on is after Christmas. Things get ultra cheap since they're trying to get rid of overstocked inventory, and there aren't many people at the stores you have to deal with.

The only interesting thing about Wal Mart, is seeing all the different species of humanity that go there.

i saw someone wearing a Kilt buying some Doritos in Texas

i felt like i was in a twilight episode

:funny: That'd be pretty entertaining actually. C'mon it's a guy in broad daylight with a kilt on! And he's buying Doritos! :awesome:

what kind of sales do they have to warrant such madness???

Good ones. Want a 40 inch HDTV for about 296 dollars? Wal-Mart will do it for like one day.

I recently discovered the joys of a 24-hour Super Walmart. I think I got lost six times in that place :o

It's not that big :oldrazz: now try some of those casino's in Vegas and I have gotten lost :o

Shopping on Amazon is the best. No lines, no fighting. Don't even have to leave my room.

:o yes but is it worth credit card debt?

I'm still on my parents payroll and I get their approval. They tell me to use a credit card for large purchases anyway so it wouldn't be different if I went to stores.

Wow. Do you pay them back though? I always paid my Mom back after using her credit card for online stuff. For me and my bro.

If he hadn't said approval I just assumed he was taking it out his mom's purse. :o

Credit cards are the devil! I remember years ago my bank rang me up and offered me credit cards. And I wasn't even bringing that much money in.

See, they wanted to get me in their pocket for all eternity. But I denied them.

Every year someone dies at a Walmart on Black Friday.

Not worth it.
A prefect example of the greed and not caring of the human race. Anyway about wal-mart letting people pick their stuff out at anytime but having to wait till 5 before the sale starts will stop rampages into the store but I believe this will only increase the # of fights over items at the store. People will be saying foul at the number of people who grab their goods 2 hours early and will want to fight over it.

The only thing with the debit card is that they can snatch off little fees that you don't realize until after the fact.
