I didn't say I didn't say it - you're the one being plainly ignorant by failing to see the context. I was saying that people who dislike the movie are not neccesarily fairweather fans. Simple enough for you?

I'll even highlight it:

Maybe people are whining because they aren't fairweather fans and are genuinely wanting more than a stupid, sub-c quality movie with next to no plot and some of the worst acting this decade.

It's only a loaded term if you misread it as comprehensively as you did.

One more time, the implication is that people insulting this movie are, somehow, not true Punisher fans. I am arguing the converse. If you want to hop on the high horse, make sure you don't fall off it.

Yeah, it received a huge drop in its theater count starting today. It had the 8th biggest theater count drop ever, from 2508 theaters down to just 385.

Im not a crazed Punisher fanboy but I gotta say I will go see this for a third time this weekend. Its not playing near me either, this movie did not deserve what it got by any means. I know I will not make a difference by doing it but at least I can say I supported till the end. Just sickens me to see the movies that make bucks even if you liked PWZ or not. This was the worst marketed movie to come down the line and deserves much better. Even for the people that did not like it, at least it was not some wimpy version of the punisher and deserves the respect to be supported.

The big push to get it on DVD before Christmas? Well ok, maybe not. But I'd bet for it to be out by February's end.

It's out of most of the theatres near me. I COULD still go see it at one if I wanted to though, 4 showings today... I'm still pondering how this happened. Bad reviews, bad advertising, bad word of mouth... I mean, this movie was BETTER than Transporter 3, I hoped it would have gotten somewhat similar numbers, even if lacking a name like Jason Statham.

Holly s**t. I'm not really surprised though. LionsGate basically released a straight to DVD movie in theaters and they knew it so that shouldn't be surprised either.

My hang up's on Daredevil always come back to that stupid all leather costume that would have anyone pass out from heat stroke after running a 1/4 mile. But the jumping around like Spider-man kinda gets silly too.

The neck snapping thing is incredibly overused. You ever see that Will Sasso as Steven Segal on Madtv episode? I'm sure you will get a laugh out of it.

Maybe they didn't ask for it, but some are certainly praising it. They "get" it.

It's a disaster. it was evitable.

1. The stupid release date. Who is the stupid guy who has thought Christmas it's the right time for a Punisher movie?
2. The stupid marketing...Two of the worst trailers i've ever seen this year. They presented the movie like an action movie with violence and without story...And basically, if you has seen the movie, there are 4 action scene - i say 4 - in all movie and every action scene is 2-3 minute long (except the final action scene, 15').
3. The stupid rumors. I don't know because many web sites are destroyed the movie before it'll come out. I think for Jane. But it's stupid.

This is the best Punisher movie ever. Without leave nothing to the other version who are also great. Ray Stevenson is Punisher. Lexi Alexander has done a great work. The Michael Wandmacher's score are great!

It's a great movie and it not deserves this flop. I hope this will do well on home video! And i hope for a sequel with Stevenson!
