I haven't seen much that I like from any trailer so far, and believe me I want to like this film, but...nothing is doing it for me mate...
Thanks, cause i feel the same way

Yeah, that's one of those scores that will be memorable. Got that weird vibe to it, almost sounds like Danny Elfman.

I have a feeling the critics won't be too kind to this. My guess is anywhere between 35% and 60-70% on RT.

Judging by their twitter postings, most online critics seemed to have enjoyed it immensely.

Really? Hmm. I always thoguht they wouldn't be too kiond to it because they would complain about the so called "original" Holmes look and not get it. I hate it when critics are ignorant like that.

I would hope that a good number of these critics have read at least one or two Holmes stories and seen that he isn't as squeaky clean as Basil Rathbone would lead you to believe

So far they have been positive. As for their print counterparts I do not know.

I've seen a bunch of trailers, and I think it looks to be entertraining as heck. Just wish that I'll have the time over at Christmas to see it in theatre. Btw, McAdams looks so sexy in the Victorian lingerie. :wow:

I saw a tv spot last night and I'm getting more excited. My friend wants me to wait for him after he comes back on Monday.

Uhh... I don't think I can do that.

RDJ got nominated for a Golden Globe? That's pretty great.

Yeah, I think I might go the day after christmas.

Well so far I've seen a couple of big name publications complaing its not stuffy old British Holmes so its not Sherlock Holmes which means they still think the character is Basil Rathbone take on the character :whatever:

I never liked Rathbone as Holmes. He looked perfect for the character, but I always felt he played him way too uptight and boring.
