The Venom Fight: Spider Vs. Spider

Well, from what we know, he kidnaps MJ and tries to kill Peter, and probably Harry, too.

Plenty of sins there.

.....Ok, you got me there. I'll shut up now. But still he shouldnt die in my opinion as so the opinions of so many other fans.

So what? In your opinion everyone who did something bad ultimately should deserve to die? Why can't you just repent in jail?

Unless you're a super powered freak. I'm sure there people at high places interested to study subjects like Doc Ock and Venom.

without the symbiote brock is just regular human. he wouldn't be able to break out of jail.

Don't forget how Eddie got the Symbiote back in the comics.

It's not my opinion. I'm just stating the way Sam Raimi does it. I said I didn't agree with it. But, these villains are not simply doing bad. They're killers. They kill, and try to kill innocent people to get what they want. At least Ock and Goblin did, anyway. And we know Venom tries to murder Spider-Man.

Another reason why I think Sandman is going to live is because he's doing what he's doing for someone else. Namely his family. Whereas Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and Venom all have goals that are selfish, and serve their own personal desires. Nobody elses.

true but if this is the end of the symbiote storyline then brock will probably remain jail but thats if he lives though which i sort of doubt.

I hope... for ALL of our sakes, that the final battle between Pete and Venom is TRUELY what you are all hoping it'll be.. If not, I'll feel bad for ya all. For many of you Venom IS spider-man 3, right.... Just prey he'll provide what you're all dreaming he will.

i think the fight between spidey and venom will be non stop action, punching kicking, a HUGE battle with explosions. this fight will be phenominal and will be the best.

I know that Eddie will kidnap MJ, starting off by getting her in a taxi-cap... Well that same taxi-cap will end up in a huge Venom web between 2 skyscrapers, still having MJ inside of it!!! This is shown in the trailer!

WHAT TRAILER!?

I hope you're right, I really do. If we dont see at least an action shot or two from the Venom vs. Spidey battle in this next trailer, then I'll really start to wonder!... Are they really gonna hold back on the most anticipated fight out of all 3 movie's until it opens in theater??? Can they do that?? Cause the two earlier spidey flicks didn't hold back on anything.

Personally, I hope we only see a glimps of Venom in the next trailer, along with maybe ending it with a quick flash of the battle between the two spiders! That way they'll be upholding that mystique that's surounding Venom right now. ESPECIALLY for the ones who are not familiar with VENOM to begin with.

KNOCK DOWN, DRAG OUT SLUG FEST IN WHICH ONLY ONE WILL PREVAIL!!!

Despite the fact that Venom is out to kill Spider-Man, the way he made of for his sins was protecting the innocent because in his mind, he was innocent before Spider-Man came into his life. So I'll bet they will give venom the same kind of personality like in the comics, where he thinks Spider-Man is the real killer and he is the hero. So in his mind, it wouldnt be a sin.

And in Goblin and Ock's minds, they thought they were justified in doing what they were doing. Norman was trying to save the company he worked so hard to build, and Otto was rebuilding his life's work.

But that did not justify all the evil things they did to make that happen. Same goes for Brock. He may think Spider-Man is bad, but that doesn't give him the right to kidnap MJ and attempt to murder Peter.

Still wouldnt give Raimi the right to kill off Venom. GG and Octavius killed people for their selfish reasons of their life work. They killed for that. Venom doesnt kill anyone for all we know right now. He it's true that he kidnaps MJ and "attempts", which is the keyword here, attempts to kill Peter. We pretty much know that Venom will lose in the fight.(Good Triumphs over Evil. The most stupid cliche ever in the history of Superhero movies.) I believe that if Venom did kill someone, then it should be considered a sin, not for attempted. Attempting to kill someone is not a sin, if you are successful at killing someone, then it is a sin. I can't believe I am quoting the ten commandments right now for a Spidey discussion but we all know the commandment, "Thou Shall not Kill." So again for what reason should Venom be killed off? If Raimi kills Venom off after he just makes a 15 minute debut at the end of the movie, I will be highly upset. Keep him for the remainder of the 4th!!

Well, that's not true. It's his movie. It's his vision. He has the right to execute it whatever way he likes. He's killed off two other major villains, so far.

And how is attempted murder any better than actually succeeding in killing a person?? Fact is, he is a killer. Whether he succeeds in murdering someone or not is irrelevant.

We pretty much know that Venom will lose in the fight.(Good Triumphs over Evil. The most stupid cliche ever in the history of Superhero movies.)

LOL! Well, come now dude, what would you suggest happens?? Venom gets to kill Spidey?? Come on, we know Spidey has to win in the end. But this time, it costs him his best friend. So it's not a total win for Peter.

I believe that if Venom did kill someone, then it should be considered a sin, not for attempted. Attempting to kill someone is not a sin, if you are successful at killing someone, then it is a sin.

You've got to be kidding me. Man, I hope you never become a judge or jury member on an attempted murder case.

If someone tried to kill you or someone you care about, you wouldn't want to see them punished for their crime??

I can't believe I am quoting the ten commandments right now for a Spidey discussion but we all know the commandment, "Thou Shall not Kill."

Yeah, you're also not supposed to be jealous of your neighbour if he gets a new car or anything that you would really like to have. You're not allowed have lustful thoughts about other women when you're married etc. But it still happens.

People sin ever day. Fact is, most of them don't hurt other people.

So again for what reason should Venom be killed off?

Because he committed evil deeds, of course. Just like the previous villains.

If Raimi kills Venom off after he just makes a 15 minute debut at the end of the movie, I will be highly upset. Keep him for the remainder of the 4th!!

I'm not saying killing off Venom is right or fair. Just explaining it from a movie perspective.
