The Venom Fight: Spider Vs. Spider

Yea probally but i would like the fight to look something like this

http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=1583186893

If you were Spidey...you suck...but, just wondering, what game is it? I never knew there was a game with a green Venom...

And with the Sandman living debate...Sam Raimi is doing a good deed by keeping him alive though, it stays true with the comics, mostly because Sandman DOES become a good guy...he turns back to a villain, but still, wouldn't you keep a villain alive that will soon become a good guy anyways and have him repent I guess at the final battle? Raimi knows this, so with that, of course he would want Sandman, who is one of Spidey's greatest foes to say "no" to crime and redeem himself...even though Venom became a good guy too, he still needs to be the villain that is the EVIL one...and besides, even though killing off bad guys seem like a bad idea to some people, it's just movies...this might be the last one, or there might be three more movies to be made, and every movie deserves new foes and not re-used villains...that's why villains are killed off, and Sandman lives because he was once a good guy in the comics and in the movie, his background tells why he steals money, for his daughter.

The game is Marvel Nemesis and I didnt play the game long enough to figure out what the hell is going on.

maybe they will use the power rangers theme song in spidey 3 too!

haha, no hard feelings, i had to say it....

Well, that's not true. It's his movie. It's his vision. He has the right to execute it whatever way he likes. He's killed off two other major villains, so far.

And how is attempted murder any better than actually succeeding in killing a person?? Fact is, he is a killer. Whether he succeeds in murdering someone or not is irrelevant.

LOL! Well, come now dude, what would you suggest happens?? Venom gets to kill Spidey?? Come on, we know Spidey has to win in the end. But this time, it costs him his best friend. So it's not a total win for Peter.

You've got to be kidding me. Man, I hope you never become a judge or jury member on an attempted murder case.

If someone tried to kill you or someone you care about, you wouldn't want to see them punished for their crime??

Yeah, you're also not supposed to be jealous of your neighbour if he gets a new car or anything that you would really like to have. You're not allowed have lustful thoughts about other women when you're married etc. But it still happens.

People sin ever day. Fact is, most of them don't hurt other people.

Because he committed evil deeds, of course. Just like the previous villains.

I'm not saying killing off Venom is right or fair. Just explaining it from a movie perspective.

But Raimi should be listening to what the fans want. Not what he wants. Just because he directs the movie doesnt mean that he should always do what he wants. I mean come on, the guy killed off two villains already. Can we change something about that. What if a majority of the fans dont want to see a villain die? What if we wanna see Aunt May die or something? And yes I know the rumor that M.J. or Harry will die so I dont need to be brought up on that.

Sam Raimi is rad...if he wants Venom dead at the end of the movie, then that is a smart idea...could you think of a movie that will be two hours with Venom as a villain? Besides the fact that Venom wants Spidey dead, and that's all, how else could he be a good villain for a movie? He has no other important roles...he's not trying to steal money for his daughter, he's not trying to re-create a fusion machine, he's not trying to keep OsCorp or anything like that...I thought he should live, but if Carnage never makes it to a Spider-Man movie, then Venom will be useless for anyother storyline.

Well if you really are yearning to see Aunt May die you've got problems beyond this film.

if venom does live he wouldn't be useless at all. they could make him the main villian in a future spidey sequel. he will probably die though.

I want to just see Venom owning spidey for about 7 mins. That'd be great.

Tell me a good storyline for Venom for a future movie then...and when I say good, I mean great...something that Sam Raimi would do.

there could be any storylines they could use like in amazing spiderman issue # 315 when venom escaped from prison (don't use carnage in the movie though). mix it with sams ideas to. this is just a suggestion but how about venom bringing spidey to a remote island but i doubt that will ever be in a spidey movie and again don't include carnage in the spidey movies. mix it up and stuff. you get the idea.

Seriously? You couldn't figure out a way to make Venom a bad guy for two hours?

Heck, I would have developed him over two movies. In this one, I would have had GG2 and Lizard be the baddies, and finish up the Villian saga as well as set up why Eddie Brock hates Spider-man. I would show how the suit also corrupts Peter, and at the end of the movie have Peter rid himself of the suit and find Brock.

For the next movie, I would introduce Sandman, and begin to play out his role, but also as Spidey's trying to fight him, strange things are happening to him. He finds threatening notes webbed to where he stored his clothes on a rooftop. Threatening phone calls, a stranger bumps into him in the street, shoving a note into Peter's pocket, but when Peter turns to see who it was, he's gone, and he picks up the note, which reads I can find you anywhere. Peter becomes nervous, wondering why his Spider sence didn't warn him.
For the first thirty minutes of the movie, we wouldn't see Venom. It would be the Jaws effect. Build a sort of Horror around him, even though you never see him. Have Spidey be having some troubble with two villians (maybe Mysterio and Rhino or something like that) and when he gets knocked out, he wakes up to find them both webbed up with a note reading You're mine, and no one else ala TAS style.

Eventually, Eddie Brock would show himself, scraing MJ in their apartment, then showing up at Aunt May's and helping her around the house, simply to taunt Peter. Eddie tells Peter that no one is safe, until he gets his fight.

Eventually, Peter would go out into the city, and begin to swing around, in hopes to Draw Venom out. When Venom finally emerges, he tells Spidey tauntingly that he had been following Peter for hours, just to see him search for him futiley. They fight, and Spider-man realizes how Outmatched he is, he runs.

Peter is nervous and scared, the next day, he finds that a tree had fallen down in Aunt May's yard, narrowly missing her house. As Peter inspects the damage, Brock walks up offering to help, but whispers in his ear "your loved ones will die unless you give me my battle. Tonight the construction site, don't be late."

Peter would wonder who can help him and how, but realizes that he has to do it alone. When they meet up, Sandman also shows (I haven't addressed his story, but we would be developing that throughout the movie as well) And it would be a huge Battle.

You could end it easily, ala TAS style with the Rocket, Comic style where Spidey gets the Symbiote to try and leave Brock because it still "loves" Peter, or where Pete Forces the Symbiote to loose too much of itself using up it's webbing ect...ect...

Now, I've just thought that up off the top of my head. If I really wanted to, I could write up a whole script with Venom as the main baddie. It would be easy to fill a movie with Venom, saying he's not interesting enough is simply laziness.

I like how that sounds

I wasnt being serious dude. I was just using it as an example as to what some fans want. I never said thats what I wanted. What I want is Venom to live for the next one.

Thanks. See, I hear lots of people say Venom isn't interesting enough to be the main villian in a movie, and I find that ridiculous. I think he could be a badass if made the main baddie, and I'm actually a little dissapointed he's only going to be in this movie towards the end.

Of course you are....but I doubt Spider-Man 4 will be just like how TAS was when it dealt with Venom. Besides, Venom's in this one, the movie will rock, but he does die, which of course he will, because Raimi wants fresh villains to use in movies...and I think all of us are hoping for Lizard to be in the fourth installment.

P.S. you're storyline is ridiculous...you want Venom AND Sandman to be in a sequel? So you just want a S-M 4 that's more like a Spider-Man 3, Part 2?

I know it won't, which is in turn why I'm dissapointed. And I used more then the TAS in my reference, I also used the way Venom was first presented when he first came into the comics.

Now, there's no denying I think Venom will be cool in the movie, I was simply addressing the fact that you (and I don't mean to seem like I'm jumping on you all of a sudden, many people have said the same thing and I just decided to reply to your post) thought that Venom wasn't dynamic or interesting enough to be the main Villian in a Spider-man movie. I was simply showing that he could be.

And I do want to see the Lizard as well. I would have liked to see him in this one, as I stated in my first post, but hopefully we'll get him in the next (if they make another)

Apparently you didn't read my first post. Sandman wouldn't be in SM3. It would only be GG2 and Lizard. I would then have Sandman and Venom be the villians in SM4.

So no, I do not want a SM3, part 2.

I think no matter how the fight ends up most people here will be disappointed because they've built their expectations up so high and choreographed the fight the way they want it in their own head.

No way is the fight going to last 15 minutes. Not even close.
Oh, but wouldn't it be great?
Maybe not. But I'd like it.
I think if it was the length of the final lightsaber fight in Ep. 3, that would be good. Maybe a little shorter, unless they have kick@$$ choreography. Preferably a lot of acrobatics and power, grace and brute force. Hopefully unlike anything we've seen before in Spidey movies.
