WB/DC: It's All Part Of The Plan

Completely forgot about TDK which is the most likely, just for the fact that they will want to sign nolan. I doubt it will be the flash and wonder woman because from what I've been reading they havent done much work on them, but I could be wrong. I'm really stumped in terms of what other properties you could be talking about.

Not sure about when you will hear anything about Superman, but you'll hear some info about other properties soon.

Well, thats good to know I guess. I'm rooting for Green Lantern, SuperMax, and the Flash. I would be happy to see the Shazam project move forward as well. Your comments on Superman lead me to believe that we won't hear anything IF anything concrete or official at least until October? If WB's and Singer are looking to truly get the sequel out by 2010 or (reboot), then they have to start pre production work by November so they can get prepared to start shooting in March or April. Otherwise no MOS or any Superman film for that matter in the summer of 2010.

A G.L. trilogy would be even kooler.

 ......LOL!

Lex-WROOOOOOOONG!!-Lex

No i think you'll find i'm right, only in your head and a couple of other fan boys is Superman the hero he was in the past. Blue tights, short shorts and a boy scout attitude is about as cool as Eric the midget

IMO, The anti hero is just the fad at the moment.
It may take a few yrs, but (hopefully) Big blue will soar again. That said, if they think they have to resort to overhauling his look and what he stands for to get a bigger B.O., then i'd rather they NEVER make another Supes film.

I doubt a WW is comming because of the animated one. It looks to be an origin film. We`ll probably see Supermax, Green Lantern another Batman movie and maybe Superman.

I don't want that JLA movie to happen but I would love a Green Lantern movie! For sure!!! :)

Yeah a Green Lantern film would kick ass, its just a shame Alan Scott will must likely get shafted in favour of Hal Jordan.

Showtime I love the avy!

The plan ought to be "hire excel"

Each sector of space is protected by a Green Lantern, possessing a power ring that uses a powerful green energy to do anything within the limits of the user’s imagination and will power. When the Green Lantern assigned to this sector of space finds himself dying on planet Earth, he tells the ring to find a suitable successor. The chosen replacement, hot-shot test pilot Hal Jordan, finds himself with a new job he never expected.

That sounds awesome.

Good job Show.

I think the plan should be for WB's to get MOS a release date for summer 2010. As I have said many times before, the MOS story should be a tie in to the eventual or possible JL film which would maybe be released in 2012 or 2013. Have Det John Jones aka Martian Manhunter make a cameo in MOS.

Thats what my basic off the top of my head plan would be when it comes to the next Superman and Batman films mainly...

I am sure this is the fresh talk Showtime had on his mind when he bumped and merged all these threads... but what's the point? There is no news and absolutely nothing to talk about...

And that's different from the last two years... how, exactly?

:whatever:

The point is these forums... along with Justice League... need to be shut down until WB has their little summit and announces something... just for the sake of getting rid of a forum and speeding up the hype even by a few miniscules... you guys want to talk DC then go over to DC and talk there... all we need is a MOS and JLA thread... I see no point with having separate threads to bash Singer, praise Singer, talk about plot directions to a non-existent film, and what not. If it speeds up the hype the least bit then good riddance... but that's just my take on it... but right now it makes a lot more sense to have a Captain America and Thor forum than having JLA/MOS. And I like Superman... but the time has come for us to move on.

Showtime-So your not hearing Green Arrow or Superman specifically or even Green Lantern? That really only leaves Shazam as a movie that could be ready to go am I right? I still think JLA could be a viable option in 2010 or 2011 if the Batman situation could be worked out. Green Lantern is really a no brainer as well as Flash. I still have questions about a Wonder Woman movie as I'm sure WB does too.

I doubt you'd have as much traffic combined on Thor and Cap'n forums as you have on Superman's.

Not sure about when you will hear anything about Superman, but you'll hear some info about other properties soon.

Correct me if I am wrong Showtime, but a few week's back you were pretty confident we would hearing something about MOS, whats changed may I ask?

That synopsis sounds brilliant, hope they go with it.

I think all of us thought they would release something, but at this point with TDK shattering records the only thing they would want to release or have to in order to keep the hype going is Nolan being signed to a third batman movie. Look at what happend with marvel and favreau, they announced the sequel, yet that hadn't even signed him. I think any announcements they make could be on a number of projects and not just superman.

Maybe showtime knows a bit more on the situation but may not be able to say, but at this point I'm sure info is being kept pretty tight considering not one comment about that summit is being revealed.

^Thats the thing, even a small announcement would get buzz going, just a little snippett, yet they release nothing, I knew WB were stupid, but this is taking the mick.

Not sure. I was obviously wrong though. We heard not a peep on Superman or any of the franchises.
