Thank you!

It is getting old and old to see SR haters to say repeat how bad this movie was. Too many negatives repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Blah blah blah.

OLD!

Pshh.

If the thread was that you could only talk about the positives then this would be a baron wasteland

Right...because of course...there were NO positives...

What's getting even older is the term "Singerman." Folks, it was never clever. It was never funny. Find something else.

That, too. I'm sick of seeing that term "Singerman". It is completely ridiculous and stupid.

Also, I remember that we are called a "Singerman fans" by SR haters. Can't remember who started to say that.

Off the top of my head i cannot name one

That's pretty short sighted. I'm not a huge fan of the film either but say there were no positive scenes, lines, performances in the entire film, that I could not say.

Off the top of my head i cannot name one

I can name a bunch of positives and a bunch of negatives. That is just me and my opinion, just as your opinion is there are none.

:shrugs:

The only thing positive I fine in the movie is the soundtrack and a lot of that was taken directly form STM.

Batman didn't belong to Tim Burton, but that didn't stop him from projecting his own personality and psychology to Batman and Batman Returns--films that, though comic purists will deny it, pleased the masses.

Now compare thoses movies to TDK! ahah

Off the top of my head i cannot name one
That's strange....most people who say they hate it, still will mention a thing or two that they liked or was well done.

Now compare thoses movies to TDK! ahah

...Good in their own right? I wouldn't compare Burton's Batman to Nolan's anymore than I'd compare Nolan's to the 60s TV series or 40s serials. I grew up with Burton's films and have a soft spot in them and happen to love Nolan's as well. Comparing the two would be fruitless.

Last we head, a big screen adaptation of Justice League might not be as dead as we first believed. /Film reader Alex Litel stumbled across the website for Dr. D Studios, a Australian-based “digital media company” formed by Omnilab Media Group and filmmaker George Miller. The website not only lists Happy Feet 2 as being “In Production” and Babe 3, Fury Road and Justice League of America being in “Pre-Production”. The company is actually at the Siggraph conference this week “actively hiring” for “several large scale film projects with a growing team of top talent from Australia and beyond.” The following quote also appears in a press release for the company’s Siggraph booth

...and here you go...

Changing gears for a sec, let's see what's currently going on with Justice League of America. Last week there were reports that the movie is finally moving forward. Guess what - that's not what we heard.

IESB found out the complete opposite from various sources at WB -- the movie will not move forward in its current incarnation and a lot has to do with the success of The Dark Knight. Warner Bros. is not willing to risk pissing off Christopher Nolan or Christian Bale and their intent would be to move forward with a third Batman film instead of introducing another Batman in a JLA film.

Officially WB is stating that Justice League of America is on hold due to the potential SAG strike. We have been advised from various sources that the truth is that George Miller has been pulled off the project. We have contacted all parties involved including Kennedy/Miller and other producers but they have declined to comment at this time.

So does that mean that Miller is out of a job? Nope, we have been told that some execs over at Warner Bros. would like Miller to take over The Green Lantern project. Any truth to the rumor? Only time will tell but one thing is certain in my purest fan boy opinion - this script totally kicks ass!

Not just as a Superman fan, but as a fan of a few DC characters, i hope that Justice League movie never sees the light of day until at least one more Batman and Superman movie, and at least solo movies for GL, Flash and Martian Manhunter.

Cool, so obviously and fortunately WB is doing some solo movies first before an eventual Justice League movie. :yay:

I'd feel alot better if we could get some Superman news telling us one way or the other what's going to happen.

Warner Bros needs to cancel JLA project crap.

Green Lantern movie is definitely what I'm looking forward. :)
