Does anyone else think that Nolan is sitting on a beach in the Bahamas reading these posts and laughing his ass off at us?
You too?I'm going to see Chris Nolan tomorrow night so hopefully he says something about his involvement in the next movie. But knowing Chris, he's going to say "Not even thinking about it at the moment" or "We'll see".
well if thats the case, and he isn't returning then i have to say the way TDK ended was stupid for a Batman film. the series can't end with Batman being thought of as a killer, it just wouldn't happen. there has to be some closure and TDK deffinatly didn't have closure IMO
That's what I thought after seeing the film - Batman's story isn't finished. Whether Chris feels he's up to the task to finish it himself, is up to him, of course. He certainly doesn't have to decide right away, although it'll only make us more desperate if he waits.I second that. Batman needs redemption.
For TDK as a middle Batman film in the saga, the ending was brilliant.
For the whole series, it isn't a good ending.
For the sake of the story and character arc, he needs to finish it. It's like stopping a story before the final act. It's wrong both in terms of the integrity of the creator and in terms of being humane to the viewers like us![]()

On a more random note, I'm thinking that the story of Batman's redemption could even involve killing the character, considering how far they're willing to go. Wouldn't surprise me, actually.
(And then I'dmy eyes out.)

Wow. This article spinned more than a drunken Spider-Man to get to say Nolan isn´t coming back. None of Eckhart´s statements necessarily indicated that.
I heard that may or may not happen, because the studio is interested in bringing it back as a TV show instead or something.Everyone seems to forget that Nolan's next project is The Prisoner movie, so he'll be busy for now.
Nolan's Howard Hughes biopic never happened either because of Scorcese's Aviator.I heard that may or may not happen, because the studio is interested in bringing it back as a TV show instead or something.
