1. If krypton was dying and they had knowlege of planets they could be gods on, why didnt more kryptonians go to earth 20,000 years ago?
2. If our solar system makes kryptonians gods, why are they dead on the scout ship? They should have become invulnerable once they entered the solar system. The whole scout ship thing is ******ed period.
3.Why doesn't Jor El and his wife go to earth? There should be a legit reason why they should stay behind... There wasn't any real reason. They could have solved this problem by Jor-el Having a last ditch effort to save the planet that was failed by zod.
4.Why Are Zod and Jor El fighting? The world is about to explode, there is no point to it unless they were fighting over some kind of escape plan for their people.
5.The codex? What is the purpose of this? It makes sense that zod wants it so if he did escape, he could recreate krypton in his own vison. And Jor El steals it and puts it into Kal's blood for what purpose?
One might say the end game is for Kal El to find the secret in his blood and rebuild Krypton on Earth... Well isnt that EXACTLY what Zod Wants?
What is the purpose in the end for thier fight? Is this about who gets to lead? WEAK!
6. I get that Zod is Programmed to save his people, but once he is on earth he is a GOD. Why would he want to populate the world with other people just as powerful as him?
Zod or Faiora says Kryptonians have no morality? Is this true?
If it is, Zod should have no moral obligation to his people.BULLSHI!T!
7. How does everybody not know that clark is superman? There was too much evidence in play here and no effort to make it the least bit ambiguous or subjective.
8.How many millions of PPL died in Metropolis while Superman went to destroy that thing in the ocean? Supes was marginally heroic compared to how he is in the comics, tv or movies. This is unexcusable.
9. Superman was the reason all this destruction happend, how is he not Americas most wanted?
10. Pa Kents death, could have been avoided, not too keen on it. I can live with it though.
11.Killing Zod? Had to be done, the fight would have been endless... I don't have a problem with that. But I cans see that after ALLL of the HUGE PLOT HOLES- and I've only listed a few, Killing Zod is the straw that broke the camel's back.
I think there are alot of poorly explained or poorly concieved ideas in this movie, especially with the realistic approach they took. In a fantasy based movie you could take bigger leaps, but when you are trying to ground a movie with more realism and sci fi- you have to do a better job to make it make sense.
I give this movie a 7 out of 10 mostly for the spectacle.
If I were to grade the script it would be a D+... Almost sastisfactory
