What can DC/WB do now to move forward? Is there hope?

Guys this is Mandon Knights MO. He drops by and says something to get everyone worked up, like earlier saying that CW copied TDK or some such thing. I would accuse him of trolling but I think he actually believes what he says and hey the world takes all kinds.

Certainly, not intentionally 'trolling' ladies & gents and most certainly NOT an MO to rile or work people up. It's personal preference to have have liked Batman v Superman, and that my opinion doesn't square with the majority and have it ranked above the Marvel films or to dislike the MCU and am sorry if people see me as, I can assure, never a 'target' or aim of mine.

Watchmen IMO is so underated, Begins s**ts on Avengers from a great height in my view. I'd watch a DC film over any of Marvel's output any day of the week. Yes, I'm a DC kid over Marvel, always have been, and people bang on about Marvel 'having a plan' and being out of the blocks quicker, but DC simply make superior comic book films to the Marvel studios.

...and this is why Marvel films bore the s**t out of me....

Agreed, Green Lantern is not the epitomy of film making genius but I'd take it over any of Marvel's films any day of the week.

Personally would have DC / WB output over Marvel's any day of the week.

I'd take BvS over any Marvel film any day. Appreciate I'm a DC fan over Marvel any day of the week but I simply enjoy their films more, genuinely enjoy them more, better production value, story telling, performances, everything.

I'd take any DCEU film over Marvel's output any day of the week. I openly admit to being a FAR bigger DC fan than Marvel but genuinely would rather watch any WB/DC output than Marvel.

I find the Marvel films 'rinse & repeat'.

Personally take the execution of that over any Marvel output, any day.

In my opinion BvS is on every level better than Civil War. It's not 'deniel', it's a love of the film, I am a DC fan over Marvel characters and films any day of the week yes, but even so, I thought BvS was better in every aspect.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say BUT, are you saying you'd take BvS and DCEU over anything Marvel any day of the week?

But if you say, it's not your intention to rile people up, then the posts I found pretty much says the opposite, especially for saying that DC movies s'ts on MCU movies.

But if you say, it's not your intention to rile people up. Don't say "DC movie/DCEU" s'ts on "Marvel movie/MCU". You could have easily just say, I don't care for MCU movies. Because it sure sounds like you are trying to work people up.

Okay, lets try and put this to bed, I hugely dislike Marvel MCU films, I greatly enjoy the DCEU, I think the DCEU have made films that are vastly superior to any MCU output, on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or at the weekend. I am sorry if my love for BvS offends people and that I can't find artistic originality in the MCU, but you all go ahead and love what you want guys. It may be noted, I also rarely post in Marvel threads for this very reason, as if one dare suggest Marvel don't make 'the finest films ever made', one gets slaughtered.

I think if people set up a thread where you have a discussion basis of DC v Marvel Cinematic Universe and they don't expect some people to prefer one to the other and engage in that view with their comment then a) they are being daft and b) haven't prepared themselves for that notion.

I took/take fully on board that using terminology as I have to describe my preferential differences between the films may appear to be 'incendiary' or trolling, which again, I assure was not my intention, and I will refrain from using in the future and as I've previously stated, I stay away from Marvel threads to avoid such scenarios as to been seen to post negativity about the MCU.

To date, all 3 DC extended universe films have given us a dynamic that strays from that and has introduced strongly a wider universe.

Constant babel / Superman fights / someone dies
Big improvement.

Oh man, just reading the last page of this thread is headache inducing. lol

Now, I like the three DCEU movies but they definitely haven't offered anything new that "strays" from the status quo & they certainly haven't built a wider universe than Marvel.

I love both companies equally, but it's pretty clear cut that cinematically DC cannot hold a candle to Marvel as of now. Anything else is just nonsense.

There's nothing wrong with that but it's just not my style of movie I like. I find the quips really take me out of the story and the stakes are low and the bad guys really bad.
I don't think it's trolling to post this in a thread with this title. Trolling would be being a marvel fan and creating this board or being a marvel guy or gal and often coming over to express negativity about DC .
