    I made sure to cover the title, just in case people wander in here accidently.

    We all know that Cyclops was killed for the sake of plot and story? .. well most of us ... so what factor(s) do you think killed cyclops ??

    Seriously, you can't give an actor a larger role if you can't be 110 % sure he will be available, and I don't think anyone could have been sure of that.
