The Dark Knight Rises What Do You NOT want to see in Batman 3?

This is just a theory, but could it be that TDK's Gotham looked "cleaner" on purpose, given that up until the middle of the film Batman was actually succeeding in his crusade against crime?

If so, I think Gotham will be a lot darker and dirtier in B3.

Though, I realize that this may be dangerous territory. I'd like to propose that Gotham City is symbolic of Batman's crusade against injustice. As matters get better, so also does the City appear polished. Now, saying this, Batman 3's Gotham City would surely be grittier even than Begins'.

:awesome:

I realized that this was essentially what you'd said.

Don't wanna see any of the typical lame-a$$ ideas usually suggested on the internet by fans.

Ironically, this post must be categorized as yet another lame-ass idea proposed by you, a fan on the internet.

I don't want Alfred to tell Bruce about Rachel's letter.

^^ See, I kinda think he will mention it...but on accident and not by purpose.

I think it could add tension, especially if there is a new love interest in the third film.

One thing I DON'T want to see is a movie WITHOUT a new Batmobile. I'd even be fine if it's the same Tumblermobile as BB and TDK, but I don't want an entire movie with just the Batpod.

I'm pretty sure that was a big part of it, as well as to broaden the canvas to tell a larger story with a cityscape that felt more organic. Most people forget that Gotham in both films looks basically the same, the only difference in Begins is that the monorail had a bigger presence and a lot of the plot beats took place on the Narrows, an over-the-top ghetto on an island off the mainland.

I do. Cause I think it will play a part when (if) the truth comes out about Dent. That Bruce will realise its never best to live under a lie,and people must and can cope with the truth. It can make a person stronger.

Batman talks about rewarding people's faith. He doesn't seem to have any faith in Gotham, and only assumes that Dent was their hero.

But by the end, people and even Batman will realise that he is their true protector...and THAT is the truth of the situation.

I do not want to see the second Batman costume in the next movie that was in Dark Knight.

Batman look like a freakin' jig saw puzzle.

I was thinking the EXACT same thing, lol.

It reminds me of Raidens skull suit in MGS2

Totally.
I'd like the next suit to be grey. Not a bright "Dead End" grey, a nice dark, muted shade of it. The cape should also be made of leather again. With a Matte finish, the cloth cape didnt look right, IMO.

I would love to see a black and gray suit. If the costume was wrote in the right way of why its that color,I would love to see it. Either a dark gray,or certain parts patched onto an all black suit.

Maybe the suit NEEDS to be gray of sorts, like a new type of stronger kevlar. But knowing Bruce,he'll just spray paint over it,lol.

I've no problem with the new costume. I hope it stays in Batman 3.

I've never been a fan of the leather cape. It always looked too heavy and unwieldy for me. I'll take the memory cloth cape any day.

I'm torn when it comes to the Batmobile.

I just don't see why Batman would go from using the Tumbler, which was a good all round all-terrain vehicle, to using a more basic car type vehicle. It just seems like a step back. The Batmobile (at least most variations we have seen) wouldn't be as versatile as the Tumbler was, if only for the wheels.

And I know they could just design a Batmobile with big all-terrain tyres, but then wouldn't it just more resemble a Tumbler 2.0?
