What do you think of the Green Goblin II costume?

Now, i am NOT saying i love the new suit, but i made a little comparisson to see what the producers and Raimi are thinking.

Hmmm...choices choices...do we go with the "classic" look or modernize it and make it translate to a new generation...in other words:

I don't care if you love the old suit or not...it sucks.

hey i am also not saying that i 100 love the suit. i just find it funny when people start talking like that hte movie is for comic fans. it is an apdation from the comics. without changes this movie would not make so much money. without changes spidey 3 would not be made. yes i know that there are changes that were bad. but it looks like that general public likes what raimi is doing. and raimi gave you the same spidey suit from the comics.

The comic version is much better than the crap that we got. I'm sure people thought that the Joker would look rediculous on screen but he turned out great. They didn't **** with him and turn him into a ****ty ninja.

whenever we people who grew up reading the comics see the new goblin we think wtf is that piece of s*%t, they turned an awesome character into a snowboarding kid with a gas mask, they made the new suit for people who dont read the comics and are not familiar with the real green goblin, because thats not the green goblin, so when people sound pissed off about them changing the costume you have to realize that that costume has been around since the early 1960's and to first change it into what it was in SM1 with some likeness to the original, then change it into this absolute piece of **** with no likeness whatsover to any goblin pisses people off so deal with it

^Norman built the suit for a flight suit,but Harry knows he will be facing spidey so you think he would customize it for his fight with the webhead.The purple wouldn't just be cosmetic but to serve a purpose.

The purple armor on the chest,shoulders,forearms,thighs,legs,top of his helmet could be a new material that is stick resistance,so spidey webs can stick to it.

Purple knee/elbow pads would have spikes on them so when he elbows or kicks he can do some major damage.

Purple boots that stick to any surface,so he can't get kicked off his glider by spidey,he can even use them to stick to any other surfaces.

Purple gloves could zap spidey like a tazer could.Since Harry knows he will be in a battle,you think he would wear the proper gear for it.

I have to agree, i'd rather have some likenesses like the first power ranger suit, other than this mediocre outfit that u could buy at wal-mart

^My point was how could the original GG suit be upgraded.It would be ridiculous to just make cosmetic changes,so make sure the changes have a purpose and at the same time make it look cooler from the original suit.instead of Harry just taking the same suit his dad used.

But I majorly disliked the tackyness of the original GG movie costume. If anything, I'd like the comicy look.

God, I give up on you people. Harry doesn't need some goofy-ass costume to be the Goblin. His father had to hide his identity. Harry doesn't. I swear, you all act like he's gonna be a totally different character just because he doesn't wear a Goblin mask.
