they should change the coat color to purple and have the purple santa hat thing like the original and add ear extensions to the half mask thing

I don't think thats the final costume.

I was thinking, maybe he needs to spring into action really quickly and just slaps that on as a makeshift costume, sort of like Spidey's wrestling costume in the first one.

I hope so. Then maybe Norman can keep nagging him about being beaten, so he must become the Goblin.

That be great if that happened in the movie. Norman can call him worthless and pathetic so Harry becomes the Goblin to show his dad he can make not just a good Goblin but great Goblin.

His costume actually doesn't look that bad. It's just the lack of a Goblin mask and the damn Snowboard-glider that are totally ruining it.

Very true. He just needs a Goblin mask. I don't care if Raimi were to make it look like an orc's head, an elf, or some newer design just give us the mask and old purple elfen hat. And I'd like to see the old glider from the cartoon that looks like a purple bat. That thing was cool because it shot bullets and missiles out of the eyes/wings. :)

I'm all for that original cool goblin look, but theres just no practicality to it, its like 'ye so harry we made this whole surfer costume with wind resistant material, electric shock proof gloves...oh and we stuck some ears on it for you...what you think?'...'what do the ears do?'...'uhhh ahhh hahaha'

There was a concept costume for the original suit that included goggles and a headset that appeared like ears...does anyone have that shot anywhere? Hell, it wasnt great...but I'd prefer that over the damn paint mask.

saad news all, I just learned that eric bana's not going to be the hulk in Hulk 2. Awww... damn it. Oh well...

Oh wait what the? Green goblin 2's from back to the future? When did he get a time machine???? :O

it ain't the goblin if there's no goblin mask. :(

we were all expecting a variation of the original GG costume and what we got was a sorta replica of Batman's spelunking suit in BB.

Maybe it's a prototype Harry uses before he embraces the GG mantle. I hope so at least.
That is what I was thinking, just like with Peter and the wresting match in the first movie.

The pic from the teaser is NOT the Goblin costume. This is when Harry first decides to use the Goblin gear against Peter. He attacks Peter when Peter isn't expecting it. Sort of a spur of the moment thing.

There is a full Green Goblin costume in the movie. This is how it was described to me by someone from the technical side of the crew. It's black (maybe very dark green), body armor with green highlights. I asked if it was techno like the GG v1, but he said more like body armor. The forearms have blades on them. GG has a sword which stores on the back. He also has several masks and a couple of different boards (hence the snowboard seen in the trailer). The original gear is still in his lair, but I think Harry designs this new stuff.

Just wanted to clear up that GG won't be a guy in street clothes on a glider. This is just one quick scene. I can't believe people thought this was actually a super-villain costume.

I was also told that there will be a Super-Venom later in the movie which closer resembles his comic appearance.

And this would of looked more Goblin like than the one in the teaser, and it would of gave him some facial gestures as well.

It's still okay in my opinion. It does look better every time I look at it.

I'm sure he'll have a Goblin costume in the final battle.

I don't know, do you really think that he'll have a "final" costume, I kinda doubt it.

You never know. That one he's wearing has to get trashed in the battle. His mask gets knocked off and it might have broke.

I wouldn't be suprised if he comes back as the real Green Goblin II.

i still dont understand... WHY CHANGE THE GLIDER? lol it was the ONE THING about Norman's goblin they got right! lol

The other Glider at the end of Spider-Man 2 looked like it was being worked on.

Maybe he didn't know how to fix it.

That wouldn't make sense. He doesn't know how to repair a glider, but can build a new one?
