I could care less about what color Harvey is. I would really like to see Terrance Howard play Harvey. Seeing him in Crash, going from a relatively calm easy going man of wealth, to a tragic, fed up, figure kinda reminded me of Harvey anyway. Some of you guys need to chill w/ the whole "it should be just like the comics thing. From the way I interpereted the comics, Ra's wasn't white. And don't everybody jump down my back at once. It clearly says in the comics that he was born into a family of Arabic Nomads. Now, I didn't see anyone protesting Liam Neeson. So if a black actor is cast as Harvey, there should be absolutely no one arguing. I could see if this was like the role of Red Skull, or Black Panther. But this is Harvey Dent, a D.A. I think it would be a cool turn of events to see a black D.A. cracking down mob bosses. Just my thoughts.

It's a tricky subject. for myself I boil it down to the iconic highly well known, I'm talking deeply engrained in pop culture and personal affinity some have for them, characters that should more than others remain a certain race. Maybe some day that'll just not be an issue at all though. Two face, they can go any way they want with him as long as he's male. I just don't see a problem with that or any change to someone's race really in today's world, but i'd be a liar if I didn't say there was a certain completeness to having the comic copied almost exactly as it is over in live action. Like Jessica Alba as sue storm. It's not quite like it is in my ideal vision for the fantastic four, even Johnny having dark hair... however harvey dent I have no ideal vision for besides him being male and having the whole scarred half of his face thing so do what you please nolan.

Terrence Howard's a good choice.

I still say Don Cheadle would make an excellent riddler. He just has that riddler twinkle in his eye... it's cheesy and hard to explain.

if they go with a black actor, i love the idea of denzel as dent...powerful actor, would work for the character.
