What is the appeal of blue eyes?

I have green eyes, when I was younger they were a more greenish-yellow color, but they've gotten darker over the years.

i was gonna post that Kate Bosworth had 2 color eyes, but someone beat me to it.

There was a guy on Real World: Seattle that had a blue eye and a brown eye.

my friend tiff has really blue eyes that we always mess with her about.

but on a kinda serious but not really note, my dog has some of the prettiest blue eyes i think i've even seen. they're so light blue they're almost white

ok since the one thing i actually like about myself is my eyes i'll post 'em.

i can make them stand out more with darker eye makeup like the first pic.

but my really dark eyes trounce any of your light blues and greens

as a coloured contact wearer, i've tried on most eye colours on myself and i would have to say i look the best in turquoise but my own natural colour is better than the rest.

No one really noticed my blue eyes when I wore glasses, though because I wear contacts all the time now (not coloured ones just so you know), various people have commented on how blue they are and how lovely they look, which is nice.
