What is the worst kind of nerd?

The only people arguing on the internet are really young people or really old people.

And all of us in between are just enjoying the show.

I constantly hear people question, "Why did they cancel it!? It was such a good show!"
To which I answer, "Cause you didn't ever watch it! You didn't see it until six years after it had ended! Where was your fandom when we needed it!"

Honestly, I became a fan of the show in 2005. I never even knew the show existed during it's run.

Considering one in a section of the Star Wars section of the Hype recently said any of us who like the Prequels are know nothing about film and aren't intelligent enough to admit that the Prequels suck and we're all just in denial. It's creepy how they dress in shady clothes and hang around the toy aisle for little girls. Worse is when every other word out of their mouth, while they're criticizing toys marketed to little girls mind you, is some kind of profanity.

Then there's the enthusiastic ones who make it sound like the cartoon (for little girls) has George RR Martin-tier writing and plotting.

You've met the worst of us then. A lot of MLP fans , like myself who also isn't a huge fan of the Brony term, are actually reasonable people.

I want to know where people get off hating Lucas for Indy 4. I know he wrote it, but Speilberg ok'd everything and directed it but he gets no blame. That said I enjoy most of Indy 4 too.

Truth be told I kept face palming at the guy who kept using all the Japanese pronunciations of the DB stuff and screaming about the manga. It hurt so badly.

No offense taken, but my above post pretty much said my thoughts regarding the MLP fandom. I love the show but the fanbase drove itself off a cliff a long time ago.

There's a few episodes I enjoy as well. Most of the world building ones like Hearthswarming Eve, and Magic Duel (which reminded me of The Dark Knight Rises if you replace Bane and Batman with Trixie and Twilight). I

'm reminded of Dungeons and Dragons fans who hated 4th edition; specifically those who play in the Forgotten Realms setting. It seems like they could just cherry pick what they like from the newer stuff and add it to the older editions, rather than have a kneejerk reaction.

lol...I don't think I'm mad at the Pony love, but hypnotizing yourself to believe you are a pony is taking it to the next level.

Like any fandom, there's the one who enjoy the thing without being obsessive and just like it for what it is and then there's the ones who obsess and take it too far and give everyone associated with it a bad name.

I personally enjoy the parodies more than the show itself these days.
