The nerds that become what they rally against. Basically becoming bullies and *******s comparative to the ones they claim demean them.

Possibly the ones who, in defense of their fandom (or more commonly, in attack of one that they "hate"- and usually, quite passionately) refuse to listen to (or are unable to comprehend) any sort of reason or logic. They ignore any rational arguments or facts presented to them, obfuscate the point (either through muddled and overcomplicated use of language, or sheer inability to undestand) and hope that by virtue of presenting themselves as "being right", that they actually are right. These types are generally incapable of holding two contradictory ideas in their head simultaneously.
