I mean, everyone else does deserve to have their work seen. I mean, we haven't scrubbed Jeepers Creepers from being seen. Depending on the contracts, theatrical is a no go, at this rate.
Ugh the second one was just creepy.

Whether they delay it for reshoots, cut it up for other projects I think at this stage Batgirl will likely end up being the big return for Keaton's Batman. Which is probably for the best all things considered.

I have wanted a Flash movie since I was a kid, but I did not care for Ezra in the role.

They should probably scrap the entire movie can't have it with him. Hell just don't do Barry do Wally West the original fun red headed one from JL cartoon mold.

Yeah yeah I know likely can't tell the story of Wally West without giving Barry Allen story.

Until yesterday, I would have said it was likely they would put this out in whatever state they could, in the same way they did with Justice League. But after Batgirl's cancellation, I can honestly see them going the same way with The Flash now.

They didn't show any of it at SDCC, the same way they didn't with Batgirl. Might have been for the same reason.

If Im anyone working on this Flash movie and just saw Batgirl cancelled, Im definitely not putting in overtime.

Probably the best thing to do is to recast 90% of his scenes. It would mean a delay but so be it.

Ezra could be in the first few minutes.

He tries time travel to save his mom, but at the same time, other barry's on alternate Earths are doing the exact same thing.

He races off and disappears into the speedforce.
we see several dozen Variations of Flash in the speed force. All get scattered and thrown into different Earths.
Almost instantly, another, different barry/flash appears on "our" Earth.

He is now stuck here, as are the other barrys on all the other Earths.

This new Barry ends up trying it again, and that is the reason we see Keaton's Batman.

At what point does it need to get to until they recast the Flash? If Ezra were a sex offender would they still go ahead with this movie?

The film release should be cancelled, and Keaton should retained for a different Batman return vehicle—Batman Beyond, or a reworked Batgirl.

Figure out the Flash another day. Unfortunately

If the DC Animated Universe ended with Flashpoint i see the DCEU ending the same

Something tells me it will still get released. I feel like if they were going to cancel it, they would've done it by now.

I guess it depends on what happens over the next six months with Ezra Miller. If their handlers can keep Miller out of the spotlight and out of headlines.

this is how the snyder cut should have ended during the knightmare scene, with Flash rebooting the timeline, hoping they will be luckier next time.

It's kinda between a rock and a hard place for WB.
Recast and reshoot his scenes, that would cost millions.
Don't recast and risk having a flop, costing millions more.

What to do? Release and change the title. Quit pretending its a solo Flash movie, which it is not, and take attention away from Ezra Miller. Then make an actual Flash movie with someone else.

Rather have this and just recast the role and then do reshoots...push it back to 2024 or 2025

....I won't be posting in here anymore. Problem solved....

If they do recast, I could buy Justin Long as an aged up version of Miller’s Barry. If say Barry got lost in the speed force or something and came out older.

And I’ve kinda always felt Miller was doing knock off Long performance anyway.

Release the movie.

Recast Barry in Flash 2 and 3. Shouldn't sound complicated and uneasy, given that the actor is problematic.
