The Perks of Being A Wallflower - 10/10

I really loved the book because I saw so much of myself in charlie and still do, and I adored this just as much. Great performances from the cast, and a really great job by first time director.

Olympus Has Fallen

This is the best Die Hard film this year. It's pretty much taking Die Hard and combine it with Air Force One. The action is there in full throttle, not once it slows down for a long period of time. Gerard Butler did a serviceable job playing the lead but I can't help to think if they got Bruce Willis instead and be John McClane. Harvey Den...I mean Aaron Eckhart did a great job playing the president, he did get a few cool moments and Morgan Freeman being Morgan Freeman.
9/10

The Incredible Burt Wonderstone

Going in not expecting much, it wasn't that bad. I had a few good laughs and the little criticism I had with it added to the comedy somehow. Jim Carrey, Steve Buscemi, Olivia Wilde, and Alan Arkin were my favorite parts of the film while Steve Carell didn't do it for me. If this movie came out 8 years ago it would be even more hilarious.
7/10

Devil (2010)

Really, really good. I liked that it was as much a mystery flick as it was horror. It had really good performances, a tight, interesting story and a strangely touching ending. It also has the shnozzleberry guy from Super Troopers taking a shard of glass to the jugular.

Ok, Shyamalan, here's the plan, you come up with a stupid idea and give it to someone more talented than you to execute it.

Identify Thief 4/5

I feel Jason Bateman is underrated, hes so good I wish he get better roles but this one isn't bad one again he could get better role.

Still can't believe it was directed by a guy who's basically only known for directing Steven Segal's schlocky action films.

Believe it. David S. Goyer wrote plenty of critically panned films, and loads of viewers love his Batman

The Mask of Zorro - 9/10

Really the ideal kind of summer blockbuster. It delivers on everything. One of my favorites growing up and it's nice to catch up with it on Blu Ray

The Godfather: Part II - 9/10

Now that I've seen all of them all the way through, it's time to pick a favorite. Honestly, the one that's left the most impression on me is... the third one. Yes the third one. Aside from Sophia Coppola and the absence of Tom Hagan, the third gave me more to chew on. I think it's Michael's best story.

That's not without saying this isn't great. It's not the best sequel of all time, but what makes this are the flashbacks with DeNiro. Michael's story with Roth and Cuba is solid, but not as strong as the first film. The strongest aspect is the relationship between Michael and Fredo and when he ultimately kills him.

i loved the first Mask of Zorro, its really an underrated movie...
the sequel was pretty terrible though

I swear this movie gets better every time I see it. Six years on and I'm still finding jokes and bits of foreshadowing that I hadn't noticed before. Rating: A

Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970)

Well I didn't expect that ending for a film that has three more sequels. But dammit it was a great ending. Totally in keeping with the kind of character Taylor is.

I liked bits and pieces, but didn't like others. It's definitely cheaper than Planet was and it shows, especially in the ape effects which looked **** at points. The middle section was pretty pointless with Brent going over Taylor's footsteps.

Finally, wow did Fallout 3 rip these guys off, or what?
