Shutter Island

Pure cinematic bliss for me. Unlike Inception, this gets better with each viewing and it gets better thinking about it. This, The Social Network, and Toy Story 3 are in the elite for 2010 for me.

Underrated film. I love that it actually feels like a noir made in the 1940's.

I got to meet him at a horror movie convention a number of years ago. Really nice guy! I got his autograph on a picture he had of his character in Star Trek for one of my buddies who's a huge Star Trek fan. Picardo was jokingly giving me **** because I picked the ST one along with a whole lot of other fans at a horror convention.

I do regret not getting his autograph on a picture from The Howling for myself though.

I' am glad I' am not the only one who loves Shutter Island.

Hard for me to say if I liked Inception more or not, but yes, Shutter Island was great!

I disagree. I thought Inception got better with each viewing for me. I wasn't a big fan of Shutter Island though either.

More the 1950's. I love the Hitchcock/Kubrick and B-Movie influences of the time. You combine Scorsese with the elements of this film and it's my ****.

I believe Scorsese even borrowed a piece of music The Shining and put it here.

It started out strong but near the end it was kinda muddled. It was also awkward seeing Chloe Moretz in this role for so many reasons but Blake Lively was probably the best part about this movie. She knows how to transform into a character.
