Smiley- 2/10
I got curious after Phelous reviewed this. Why on Earth did internet celebrities agree to be in this stupid, stupid film. Also, just because your film is about the internet, please refrain from shoving in as many internet references as possible. But hey, maybe they made it for the lulz....*sigh*I hate myself for that joke.

Yeah, it's atrocious and insulting on every level.

Man of Steel

8/10

It didn't entirely feel like an adaptation of the character from the comics, but it still has heart. And a good story that feels fairly new. I liked all the actors, especially Russell Crowe, and the action sequences were great--an improvement over Snyder's other movies.

Mama decently creepy in beginning but ruined by a dumb ending and an awful awful awful cg Mama. 6/10

What's terrible is Mama wasn't full CG. It was a really lanky skinny dude and gave him some prosthetics. They then added a bunch of unnecessary CG enhancements on top of it. It should have just been a prosthetic

World War Z - 3.5/5

I expected nothing at all with this, and I came away having an enjoyable time. Brad Pitt is enjoyable as the lead as always, and I was pleasantly surprised that there was not a large overuse of CGI for the zombies (besides a few key action set pieces). The action would've been all the more enjoyable if Marc Forster did not overuse his Quantum of Solace shaky-cam direction during the action. The zombies had a great visual appeal, some looking downright ugly. The exposition was a bit forced and "herp derp" so to speak at times, and the ending felt incredibly tacked on and out of place.

However, considering that this was setup to be a massive failure due to all of its production troubles, I was surprised to find that I enjoyed this film.
