The Place Beyond the Pines 9/10

'Escape Plan'

7/10

Robocop on Bluray

It's hard to imagine such a classic action franchise getting dumbed down with subsequent sequels that the average person starts thinking Robocop is a joke because of sloppy handling of the franchise, they need to see this and ignore the rest.

^I like the sequels

Saw Man of Steel again, and I'll lessen the score I originally gave it (based straight on joy I find watching the film)
9.5/10

Deadfall starring Eric Bana. A decent thriller where Bana goes on a rampage. The ending was somewhat cliche but didn't hurt the film.

The East

A political thriller that got pretty annoying and awkward. If there's anything I liked it was Brit Marling's performance, she continues to impress me and I hope she gets a better movie to be in.
6/10

Cold Comes the Night

Not bad for a VOD movie although the plot is flimsy at parts. Bryan Cranston was pretty much Heisenberg meets Niko Bellic. Alice Eve was also good, she's getting better with each movie.
7.5/10

A Good Old Fashioned Orgy

Hit & Run

The Rum Diary

The Lone Ranger

It's a good movie but I did not see $400 million dollars good in it. The run time was long too but it kept the pace going enough you barely noticed it.

I don't know why it was so badly received. I've seen worse movies get better reviews although they didn't cost astronomical amounts either...

Delusional people who account bad box office to the quality of film.

'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty'

Purposefully made feel good movie? Yeah, so what. I enjoyed it. 8/10

'A Hijacking'

A tense and engaging movie which feels more like a documentary, which is a compliment to it's realistic take on situations like these. 9/10

Her
9/10
Absolutely beautiful. Heartbreaking, sweet, scary, thought-provoking, etc.

Ambushed (2013)

A very ambitious DTV flick with a surprisingly great turn by Randy Couture. Ultimately it was merely ok, but I appreciated them trying to make a great movie, no matter how far short they fell.
