I liked the use of the Atomic Skull and Pauley Perrette as the voice of Lois, and the themes the movie explores are interesting. The problem is that unlike when similar themes are explored in Under the Red Hood the antagonist is awesome, The Elite are 4 very dull and visually uninteresting characters. Still it's is an interesting showcase for Superman himself. 7/10
Only saw this because of dat Elizabeth Olsen. Plot wise you see everything coming before it happens. It's your average coming of age chick flick but with better actors/actresses. 7/10
Walk of Shame
It's pretty much Elizabeth Banks in a fine ass yellow dress for 90 minutes. The comedy is alright there's some good in it, but the jokes usually boils down to her looking like a hooker. Also...Gillian Jacobs as a brunette looks like a young Anne Hathaway. 6/10
Hardy delivers with an amazing performance of a man whose life changes drastically over the course of 80+ minutes. Not going to say anymore due to spoilers, but I really enjoyed it and I was glued to the screen the entire time. 8.5/10
5/5 Kingsley definitely deserved the Oscar for this performance.
4/5 Second time and I still love it. ""Jesus Christ has blessed me with many gifts and one of them is knocking someone the f*** out!"
3.5/5 Not as funny as it used to be but still enjoyable.
2/5 Soooo boring. I just couldn't get into it even though I knew it was going to be weird. A 70's film with Bowie, it was to be expected. t:
3/5 Entertaining but nothing special and the ending was a bit too abrupt even though you could see it coming.
4.5/5
Great movie although a bit frustrating. Mads Mikkelsen gives a fantastic performance as a kindergarten teacher accused of exposing himself to one of his female students. The thing that frustrated me was the realism of the mob mentality and that it goes on in real life at times. Everyone instantly believed the girl, which I can understand because at that age kids are fairly innocent. The stupid thing was all the parents also instantly believed what the principle was saying about young kids don't lie. My ass, they lie all the time and usually to test their parents limits on what they can get away with. I couldn't help but want to smack the little brat despite her being so young. The reason why she said what she said was beyond dumb and shows what a little kid can do that might ruin someone's life that may be innocent.
This was an excellent film with an impressive cast of Irish actors including Chris O'Dowd, Dylan Moran, Aidan Gillen and of course Brendan Gleeson, who was fantastic. Those McDonagh brothers really know how to get the best out of him. 9/10
