The Raid 2

Saw it again and yup...hands down it's still the best movie of the year. I don't think anything this year can beat it.
10/10

Hellion

Eh, it was pretty dry and gloomy more than it needed to be, but that's what is sometimes expected with indie dramas. Story wise there's nothing new, it's your paint by numbers family drama but I think once it gets to the end it was pretty decent. It's funny how no matter how much you wanna make Aaron Paul look a rugged man raising kids, he still looks 20 years old.
6.5/10

This movie was just nuts. Damn good actioner. Not sure which is the better of the two, but they're both so bloody good that it doesn't even matter. Flip a coin and I'll take either heads or tails.

True Lies.

It's one of my favorite action movies, and certainly one of my most-favorite Schwarzenegger movies. I also love Jamie Lee Curtis in this. Great leads, great action, funny/witty jokes and dialogue, and a whole lot of fun. I love this movie. :awesome:

I also miss this James Cameron. His older movies (pre-Titanic and pre-late 1990's, to be specific) were awesome. I can't believe the same guy who directed True Lies also directed Avatar (which I hate with a burning passion, but that's another story).

Thank you sir. 1984-1994 James Cameron was a God to me.

Checked this out to get a feel for Trevorrow's directorial style, and I've gotta say, he doesn't disappoint. Good flick; gives me some semblance of hope for Jurassic World.
