The voice acting in general was okay or the most part, but I'll always prefer Clancy Brown for Lex just like I prefer Kevin Conroy, George Newbern and Mark Hamill.

Well George Newbern probably did more episodes where Superman got pushed out of his comfort zone so I suppose he deserves props for getting to play those shades of the character.

Vamps

A comedy about two "vegan" vampires who only drink animal blood. Had Alicia Silverstone, Wallace Shawn, Sigourney Weaver and a few others names in it. It wasn't slapstick though it had it's moments and the CGI was awful but otherwise an okay movie.

I finally watched Gravity earlier tonight.

Really awesome movie overall, in my opinion. I can now see why people kept saying that this film was an experience. It may have the best special effects I've ever seen? Also, of course, the film was tense as hell. I must have said "Oh s**t!" about a dozen times throughout the movie, haha.

My only real nitpick about this movie was Sandra Bullock's performance. Don't get me wrong, I love Sandy, and I thought she did a serviceable job in this movie ... But I find her performance to be really overrated. Oscar nomination worthy? Ehhh, I'm not so sure about that.

Blue Ruin


A well made revenge flick that reminds me of No Country for Old Men and the good parts of Drive. Macon Blair delivers a great performance, his facial expressions accounts for most of it. Great cinematography and it isn't shy on the brutal violence.

I went in having not seen a lot of the TV spots so a lot of things were a surprise to me and it was just flat out fun.

I agree; in addition I just find his voice more commanding and "Superman" like. It's difficult to explain.

Now see that's interesting because I always thought George Newbern had to work harder to make his voice feel "commanding and Superman like". Maybe some of that was that he had a rough start that first season and just needed time to find his footing. And again, some of it the material - Tim Daly tended to play Superman with more of a "just another day at the office" attitude because that's pretty much how the solo show rolled while George Newbern, as already stated, on Justice League did more episodes where Superman got pushed out of his comfort zone.

George is also Sephiroth in some of the Final Fantasy features, which is about as far from Superman as you can get without being, well, the Joker.
