Joe Banamassa live at Carnegie Hall

Film Stars Don't Die In Liverpool - Pretty good, with some decent direction and a terrific performance from Bening as Gloria Grahame. I just wish I could have watched it when my foot wasn't swollen, and I wasn't limping. Maybe I would have enjoyed it even more. As it stands, it's pretty good, if a bit melodramatic for my tastes. I did like the fade-in / fade-out sequences quite a bit as well. - 7.5 / 10

"The Big Sick". Very well acted and a very refreshing indie comedy.

Hilariously bad, or so bad you're laughing to hold back from breaking something?

By this point you know what you're getting with a Bay Transformers film. I just didn't not expect it to get this bat **** insane for the worst reasons. It was madness. To the point where I forgot basic motor functions ala Cooper coming out of The Black Lodge.

It's like staring into the abyss. Then the abyss ****s in your face.

Not the kind of answer I expected.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle

It's a movie with a mild case of sequelitis where it's more of the same, but there's nothing clever about it this time. With this one, it's a Bond parody that specifically tries to parody the campier elements of the Roger Moore era only it's not that well thought out of. The only parts I did actually enjoy was whenever they do callbacks to the first Kingsman. The cast was okay although it's got one of the oddest cameos i've seen in a while. Overall, it's just lackluster,. It's not terrible or as good as the first.
6/10

The Book of Henry

Aside from at least one massive plothole
(why didn't they just get a cell phone to record the abuse the next time they saw it?)
and the absurdities of the third act, the film clashes tonally. But it's fairly watchable.

Why state the obvious number that is the year of release? Because there is an HBO movie released 21 years prior with the same name.

It's a shame that this movie underperformed, it deserved more attention.

The Little Hours. Eh, okay.

Damn, Woodshock got 10% on Rotten Tomatoes. Now I want to see it.
