Thor: Ragnarok - This was pretty damn good. Sure maybe there were too many jokes, but I was laughing, and the cast was great too. Plus Jeff Goldblum acting like Jeff Goldblum*is never a bad thing, that and The Hulk talking was awesome. I'm not sure if it's my favorite MCU film, but I do think it's one that I'll revisit several times. - 7.5 / 10

Thor Ragnarok

Had so much fun watching this. Taika Waititi was able to turn the series around by making it witty and charming. There's a lot of Flash Gordon style moments in here where there's a lot of crazy and zany stuff going around and you were able to buy it. Chris Hemsworth did a fantastic job here as Thor. I feared with the amount of side characters, they would lose focus on Thor which thankfully wasn't the case at all. They finally gave Hulk justice by making him more fleshed out as a character. Also, Jeff Goldblum was at maximum Goldblum as The Grandmaster and I enjoyed a lot of the side characters like Valkyrie, Skurge, and Korg and the cameos were great. The only sorta problem I have with this was I feel like they crammed in two completely different movies (Planet Hulk and Ragnarok). It makes me wonder if they had taken one or the other and gave it more of a darker tone, it would have worked just as much. However, they were able to juggle both pretty well because of the comedy. Overall, I had just as much fun with this when I saw GotG vol. 2... and with the way it ended, makes me look forward to Infinity War even more.

Watched this with mom so that she could get a refresher before Ragnarok. Having seen both the jump in quality from TDW to Ragnarok is amazing, and I still enjoy TDW but it's one of the weaker in the MCU and Ragnarok is definitely one of the best in the MCU.
