Be interested to know what you think

Just finished Batman Forever.

Damn that was a lot better than I remember, I actually enjoyed it a lot. The opening scene was god awful and I was worried that the whole movie was going to be of the same quality, but I think the movie really starts to turn around once Riddler is introduced. Both villains are a little over the top and can be grating, but wasn’t too bad. Nicole Kidman is stunning here, and Kilmer is actually a really good Batman.

Also surprised how much I enjoyed the Robin stuff. I really liked that relationship. I wish we spent a little more time with Dick before his parents death, and also that we got a little bit more of teamwork between him and Batman in the end. I really liked how they managed to get in “Holy rusted metal Batman!”. Thought that was pretty slick despite the goofiness. O’Donnell isn’t too bad.

Batman Forever was nice little movie. 7/10

Phantom Thread (2017)

LOVED it. Beware of omelettes.

Agree with every word - including the rating

Ludicrous thriller with a young JGL, a bland Demi Moore and Alec Baldwin in full ham mode, chewing scenery in a performance that clearly made an impression on Nic Cage. 5/10

YES !! It's finally been made a Youtube stalker/thriller movie !!

Uber popular Youtuber Garrett (played by The Flash’s Keiynan Lonsdale) suddenly finds himself being stalked by one of his female fans and before you can say block her from your social media...lovely Shell (Ema Horvath) does everything to wreck his life.
Keiynan Lonsdale is capable and believable as the followed by 2 million youtube phenom, who along with his"friends" makes wacky staged videos along with streaming videos of gaming.
Horvath is also believable as the seemingly innocent temptress who goes off the deep end for Garrett
There are some fun moments especially if you have ever been a part of social media
I couldnt help but shake my head at the vacant and oblivious personalities of some of the characters.
For the most part it's just a predictable ,silly, paint by numbers romp.

Scale of 1-10 a 4½

The Snowman

A thrilling and chilling trailer leads to a film that isnt even lukewarm.
Detective Harry Hole (HA HA !!(Michael Fassbender),attempts to track down a serial killer who leaves snowman as a calling card at each murder scene.
This is a very slow paced film, that never gets going. It's filled with sadistic and creepy characters that at least provide some great unintended laughs.
Every 30 minutes i kept thinking ok this is when it becomes involving and thrilling.....NOPE !!
There's some really bad voice dubbing, and now that i know the facts behind it,i feel very bad for the actor who was dubbed.
Another fact at least 15 minutes of the film was left out due to either budget or scheduling conflicts.
As soon as a character was introduced i knew who the killer was.
Some of the actor's really try with the script, and the film looks incredible but i say wait for cable so you can have a few laughs

Scale of 1-10 a 3

La La Land

Saw this movie when it was in theaters, but decided to watch it again last night. Movie holds up. Very well made musical

Is this the one where she is an artist making art of braille or some such thing? I never gave this movie a chance after shaking my head over the idea of "Where's the art he talks like he's horny about?".

Yeah, thart's the one, Baldwin overacts the entire way through.

Indiana jones and the kingdom of the crystal skull

Batman & Robin 5/10

I turned it off halfway through, I couldn't take it. I remembered this movie being bad, but not boring. Yeah the jokes are too much, but at least they recognize the goofiness of it. Whenever the drama kicks in I get so bored, and couldn't care. The whole Alfred/Batgirl stuff should've been removed, it brings the movie down.

Though I will say, I do think Batman/Robin stuff is actually interesting, I just wish they spent more time with it because I enjoyed watching them together. Probably the only good aspect of the movie.

It really was one giant toy commercial.
