Saw The Post. Great film, well-acted, and very relevant too.*- 8.5 / 10

My 1:40 showing sold out though, and it was surprisingly a mix of older people, and some younger ones too. I don't even think my The Last Jedi showing had as many people in it as my Post screening did. They were all into the movie as well. Nuts!

BRIMSTONE (2016)
Loved the first act, couldn't get through the second act at all, dropped it.

The tonal choice for this is so odd and the way parts of it are framed don't work at all. Margot Robbie gives a good performance but that's about it. 4/10

That's a shame.

It's worth the wait in the end when Guy Pearce goes full demon from hell.

The Post. Same reaction as fancyarcher. Good, solid stuff. Spielberg's visual acuity is amazing -- he just makes it look easy.

Billy Liar. Funny, sad, hits a little close to home.

Out of all Black Screen Gems movies, they decide to not market "Proud Mary"? Ever since 2014’s “No Good Deed,” Black Screen Gems have only relied on their audience for money opposed to critic reviews because Black people will practically see anything as long as a Black actor they recognize star in it. They had “Obsessed,” “The Perfect Guy,” “When the Bough Breaks,” the list goes on.

But this doesn’t look like a bad movie right? It’s only a January movie released by Black Screen Gems that's not the same synopsis as every damn film they've released since 2011.

HIDDEN FIGURES (2016)......been interested in the space race since I was a kid in the 60's. This is a good companion piece with THE RIGHT STUFF.

King Arthur Legend of the Sword

Return of the King (2003) 'Fellowship' was the best but this one was cool too! :)

The Circle - Gets kinda interesting near the end with the theme of technology, but for the most part it's a bit of a bore. Also it's not as clever as thinks it is. - 4.5 / 10
